Zombie Green came out excellent. 2 tablespoons and 2 teaspoons of Lemon Yellow and 2 teaspoons of Aquamarine into about 4 cups of water in a glass bread pan.The purple is 2 teaspoons of Purple into the same bread pan.The blue is 2 tablespoons of Royal Blue. The green is 2 tablespoons of Dark Brown! Go figure.

You end up playing Tied-Dye with Magpul Mags and other stuff.
Damn it, Angus! You did not get your booster shot or what?
Kidding aside, if you are sick of black, tan and cammo here is a chance to come up with some other colorful options. Personally I did not know you could do stuff like that.
Now you really have no excuse for cross chambering .223 and .300BLK.
Someone needs to do this dyeing thing, but with some kind of masking for letters and stuff.
I recently got sand Gen3 PMAGs, which are almost white. Tried to dye them a bit darker, closer to FDE. I ended up with an indescribable color. Dark brown with greenish hues. 😀
If you know what dye to use, it’s much easier (and probably more durable) than paint. But it’s definitely no WYSIWYG.
I am not an animal! I am a human being!
After we got done laughing about the absurdity of the pastel colors…
If you’re two or three gunning something unique like the zombie green becomes an asset. Easy to spot where you dropped them and there’s no doubt that it’s YOUR magazine.
That purple is gorgeous. Have you tried using wax to make patterns yet?
We have not, but I’m sure my buddy Marv will attempt an American flag on at least one.

That’s where we started on this, I linked to them in the first dying post I made (http://mcthag.blogspot.com/2017/01/to-dye-for.html).
Some colors and combinations work just like Rit’s color wheel. Some, most especially ones with gray or brown, don’t.
Blacks and grays come out blue. Browns come out green.
Taupe almost matches the old Magpul Foliage Green. Dark Brown is OD Green.
