They are selling this crap at a local Big Box Discount Store.
Not only is canned, but in water? Not even some fake BBQ sauce?
What is next? Plant-Based fried chicken? Tofu Hush Puppies?
Where a Hispanic Catholic, and a Computer Geek write about Gun Rights, Self Defense and whatever else we can think about.

Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

Next thing you know, they’ll put vinegar in it…

According to what your “betters” in the NE corridor and the left coast want you to submit to eating, YES.
Any difference to chicken breast or salmon or spam or sardines or Vienna sausages or any other canned meat that you open the can and add it to something or season it to go along with your meal? It is pork, it isn’t vegetable make believe crap. Take it out and put your choice of BBQ sauce on it and slap it on a bun, big deal.
Should be packed in natural juices, though.
Nope, no difference then the Costco (that’s where I find it) Beef or Chicken. Calling it “Pulled Pork” is just marketing and while in someways accurate has nothing to do with BBQ. All canned meat ends up with the consistency and shredability of pulled pork or beef. If it is crap so is canned Tuna.
Maybe not the same brand, but found a company producing it in Stillmore, GA. It’s undoubtedly a Southern thing, like canned poke sallet.
It’s much easier to can it with neutral flavor and let you fix it. They’d have to have versions with ketchup based sauce, mustard based sauce, vinegar based sauce, Alabama white sauce, you name it. There’s got to be 500 regional favorite barbecue sauces.
Tofu hushpuppies and vegan hushpuppies are a thing and they taste of disappointment and lies.
