Behold! The Mossberg 500 Road Blocker. Was Daddy a tank and Mommy a regular 500? I have no idea what kind of application this thing is for, but I don’t care. I want one just for the brag factor with the guys at the club.
PS: As per wife’s orders, I am not allowed to use CDI as excuse, notation or even think about it. Since I am a faithful & obedient husband, I will comply…. or else.
Oh, yeah! That’s on my list! I had to give my Winchester Defender to my eldest son, who, at 15, used it to protect himself and 12 year old sister from two career criminals. Having been the one to use it, I felt it belonged to him by right of combat!
Of course we lived in Texas then and it was perfectly legal for a “child” to have access to a deadly weapon in our home and to use it to defend life and property.
Of course 12 year old sister had the .44 mag Rugar Blackhawk pointed at the door as the thugs kicked it. I gave that to her. She was and is a crack shot with the Blackhawk and the Redhawk, though at 32 she is still onlh 5′ tall. (Wrist braker? Not for a gal who walked around the house on her hands with her feet pointing at the ceiling!) Her mom has a .45 ACP Gold Cup. Some wimps in law enforcement call that powder puff a wrist breaker. Duh! Wife is “big” 5′ 2″. She likes the .44 too.
But, hay, we’re Texans, descendants of folks who fought in the Army of the Republic of Texas. So, what would you expect?
