In a functioning healthy republic that would be a hell of a power move, but we all know that the (D) after Biden’s name will shield him completely.
So long as Biden simply ignores it, I expect China will also largely ignore it, and the rest of the world desperate to do business with Xi and Biden will also just ignore it.
Then at some point in the near future there will be an opportunity for a shallow and superficial gesture on China’s part that will give the pretense for retracting the genocide label.

Then after winning the election, he promptly said that Bush was right after all and renewed it over the objections of Democrats like Nancy Pelosi, who back then wanted sanctions on China for not improving its human rights record.

It’s strange you think this. Biden didn’t have to explain anything for his and his son’s crimes during the campaign. There’s no reason to expect that he would have to explain any of his crimes during his presidency, either.
