Imagine all the stuff happening around the world every day we never get to find about because it is not politically convenient for certain sectors of power.
Which party’s officials send their kids to that school?
I got that “It only happens in the US” argument from someone. They pointed out the one or two instances in europe, but stuck to their guns, so to speak.

So, I looked into it.

A mass shooting in a school is so common in Honduras it does not even make the news anymore. Brazil gets the pretty often. They are rampant across Africa. The only real reason, if I understand correctly, that Columbia or Mexico does not see more school shootings is because the cartels want to keep the people from getting too upset, and actually demanding law enforcement. So, they provide their own.

It is a cultural thing. The leftists do not get it. When the US had a gun friendly (sort of) culture, there were not all these mass shootings. As the gun restrictions started disappearing, and violence started getting more common on TV/movies, these things started happening. Gangs went from “rumbling” to drive by shootings. But, it was obviously the guns that caused it. The leftists “soft on crime, hard on marriage/responsibility” attitude had nothing to do with it, I am sure.
