I keep track of some Venezuelan Media outlets just to see what kind of BS is floating around. I cracked a laugh when I saw this bit about weapons taken from a criminal gang which apparently was using them to protect illegal mining operations in the Southeast of the country:

Rust fest and blanks. Yup, I am convinced they saved countless lives while risking their own.

But wait, it gets better. This is a general in the Venezuelan Bolivarian Armed Forces:

A bit of detail for your consideration:

I don’t believe any these will go “bang” anytime soon.

I also have the feeling this one is not going to go boom.

There are a couple of sidearms in the display that may actually be working, but after seeing the rest of the display, I am would not be surprised if they belong to the military or local police and used to enhance the ridiculous display of rusty bullshit on parade.

And from another “operation” and if on cue, the Socialist general shares the same motto as our U.S. Gun Banners:

If you are reading this blog, you probably have a bigger “arsenal” that the one displayed in this twit and just in one corner of the room:

Radios without antennas? They have the wrong mags with the wrong guns and have 7.62 Russian rounds with no AK visible, probably from a duty weapon.

This is what happens when a country does not have a Gun Culture: They are lied to and promise they are better off because the Government which is shoving a boot up their asses, is “really” protecting them from “criminals” armed with such and impressive and dangerous “arsenal”.

  1. Its amazing how “officials” lie and morons slurp it up… I really like the single shot revolvers… “high powered short guns”…too funny.. any nerf guns?

  2. Although, in a country were no one has guns, or knowledge of guns, anyone with a gun shaped item is in charge.

  3. Apparently they found the legendary firearm mines of Pizarro, because it looks like those guns were buried.
