VPC issued another of its “studies” titled “Missouri Leads Nation in Black Homicide Victimization for Second Year in a Row.”

Washington, DC–Missouri leads the nation in the rate of black homicide victimization for the second year in a row according to a new analysis of unpublished Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Supplementary Homicide Report (SHR) data released today by the Violence Policy Center (VPC).

The “unpublished” part makes me wonder how they got their hands on the FBI SHR. Did one of the VPC interns hacked into the FBI’s site or do you think somebody within the administration leaked the “unpublished” report? But that is matter for some other time and place.

The not so subtle wording almost has you believing that racist evil is afoot while trying to resurrect old anti gun cliches including the old “murdered by someone they knew.”  Let’s remember that for FBI purposes “someone they knew” includes just about everybody you ever seen in your life and either said hello once or waved your hand at him or her.

All in all, once again the VPC agrees with other organizations that African Americans should stay away from guns. Those organizations include, NAACP, Storm Front, ACLU, The American Nazi Party and your local Klan Association.
