5. When I was in Australian Army (1970’s to the 1990’s basic weapon 7.62 mm FAL) it was about three weeks of dry fire and Instant Action drills before live fire.

   The last time I picked up a FAL three years ago I could still remember how they all went.

   Guessing it has to be a support rather than combat unit but I could be wrong in the days of woke.
