It’s been two days since this was Tweeted:

The comments and quote Tweets keep coming.

I’ve seen threads about this.

Almost every single one has been a “fuck you, no” followed by list of damages and grievances by those harmed by COVID lockdowns.

I’ve seen the phrase “crossed the Rubicon” a lot in describing what the state did to the people.

The anger by those who suffered against those who caused the suffering will not be satiated with elections and ballots.

The only thing that will curb this is blood.

Either proper Nuremberg type trials that put the lead Covidians in Federal prison, seizes their wealth, and runs them; or the people will move in the direction of frontier justice.

Live and let live will not be an option.

I see what’s coming down the pipe and it looks copper jacketed.

  1. Again, this is the action of children. Bully shoves classmate into a mud puddle and takes away their lunch money. The next day, he tries to shake hands, “apologizes” and thinks all can be forgiven. Oh, and forgets to return the lunch money as well.

Not really much different than the dimmer switch of violence concept. The covidians think they can move the dimmer up and down at will. Oh, too much, dial it back a nudge. Whoops, beginning to lose control, ramp it back up. Election day is less than two weeks away, and WA Gov. Inslee decides he suddenly does not need his emergency COVID powers any more. Funny…. weird…

The biggest problem with this, in my opinion, is the folks asking for forgiveness have demonstrated ZERO evidence they will not do exactly the same thing tomorrow. And, there is a long history of them doing so to boot. It is called “cancel culture” and it is not going away.
If anyone thinks a lesson was learned here, they are about to get an education opportunity.

Oh, I think some have learned lessons. Just, perhaps, not the lessons Ms. Oster and others of her ilk, would have preferred.

  2. “I see what’s coming down the pipe and it looks copper jacketed.” – Stealing this for later use.

In that case, J.Kb, I would recommend ducking. 🙂
