Mr. Flashbang is no longer our friend.

It seem the young fella caught a flash bang device tossed by the police before it did what it does normally and in the process, lost his hand.
Ouch! Anything with an explosive charge can do damage if you’re in close enough proximity.
People always seem to forget the “grenade” part of flash-bang grenade. Even a small firecracker can mess you up if you wrap your hand around it. And I also hate the misnomer of non-lethal. People seem to think that means not dangerous. But if the PD use it recklessly it can set someones house on fire or burn someones face off like what happened to that poor child who had a flash grenade go off in his crib.
I remember some years ago reading about a cop who lost a leg that way. He stuck a flashbang in the cargo pocket of his tactical gear and snagged the pin on something. Blew a chunk out of his thigh big enough that they had to take the leg.
I was trained that if you are in a bunker and someone tosses a grenade into it. Don’t toss the grenade out again. It will probably blow up in your hand. Toss a sandbag onto the grenade. It will rupture your eardrums but you will probably live. Grenade fuzes are usually just a couple of seconds long.
Why are they tossing flash bang grenades at people in an open field?
Why? Do they hope to disorient them before they breach the garden gate?
Did “Lefty” survive?
Just another example of left wingers that no longer have a cause and effect gene. You see it alot in the democ rats!
