Funny, but Ladd Everett is a useless prick. If he got his way, a lot of disarmed people would be robbed, raped, and murdered by thugs.
If he was threatened by an armed criminal he would want a firearm to defend himself, so he is a lying, hypocritical POS.
Definition of useless is a willfully unarmed liberal when the SHTF. I guess you could push them into the line of fire to use them as temporary cover, but they tend to bleed and then fall down.

A republican can’t wish his mom a Happy Mother’s Day without being attacked for it politically.
Someone associated with Trump can’t wish their child a happy birthday without being savaged politically for it.
Eventually when every tiny thing turns into a political assault there will be pushback and it will be ugly. You can’t beat up a person for celebrating mother’s day or a birthday or anything else anodyne because of politics and not exepect that one day they will cold cock you for being a shrieking asshole.
