This person is an actual US Representative for the State of Ohio.  She is also a graduate of the University of Akron school of law and a member of the Ohio Bar.

in the US, it is legal to use a pen FDA approves drug off label.

I use one everyday.  One of the drugs I use is only approved for use in women for IBS, but my doctor thought it might work for me and had me try it.   It seems to work for me and so my doctor continues to give me the prescription.

Doctors do this all the time.  There are countless way that doctors have used Botox off label.  In the world of auto immune conditions, doctors use drugs lol label all the time.  A drug approved for rhumatoid arthritis might be given to a patient with Cronin’s or vice versa.

The President suggesting that a drug with a 50 year track record of success in treating one disease might be effective in treating another isn’t crminal.

An impeachment inquiry into this wouldn’t survive until lunch on the first day.

So what to do?  Appeal to The Hauge and call it a crime against humanity.

This isn’t one, of course.  Also, The Hauge has exactly dick jurisdiction over the US.  But TDS is TDS and this Congresswoman has it bad, and the brain damaged that it has given her has caused her to think this is a brilliant idea.

I know her constituents will love this, but I’d really love the Ohio Bar to crack down on her for saying something so legally spurious.  Then won’t, but they should.

Spread the love

  1. Even assuming that the Hauge had authority over the United States, this wouldn’t work. Copy-pasted directly from the Rome Statutes of the International Criminal Court, specifically Part II, Article 7: “Crimes Against Humanity” we get the following definition:

    For the purpose of this Statute, “crime against humanity” means any of the following acts when committed as part of a widespread or systematic attack directed against any civilian population, with knowledge of the attack:

    (a) Murder;
    (b) Extermination;
    (c) Enslavement;
    (d) Deportation or forcible transfer of population;
    (e) Imprisonment or other severe deprivation of physical liberty in violation of fundamental rules of international law;
    (f) Torture;
    (g) Rape, sexual slavery, enforced prostitution, forced pregnancy, enforced sterilization, or any other form of sexual violence of comparable gravity;
    (h) Persecution against any identifiable group or collectivity on political, racial, national, ethnic, cultural, religious, gender as defined in paragraph 3, or other grounds that are universally recognized as impermissible under international law, in connection with any act referred to in this paragraph or any crime within the jurisdiction of the Court;
    (i) Enforced disappearance of persons;
    (j) The crime of apartheid;
    (k) Other inhumane acts of a similar character intentionally causing great suffering, or serious injury to body or to mental or physical health[.]

    You’ll notice that “mentioning in a press briefing that some doctors have had some success with a medication” isn’t one of the listed crimes. Nor is “being bad orange man” among the crimes.

    I don’t know which is more frightening, that this woman is a federal lawmaker or that she used to be a flight attendant. As a lawmaker, she’s an ineffectual back-bencher but there’s always the rare chance she could sneak something into a two-thousand page bill; yet as a flight attendant she had an actual responsibility for people’s lives in the extremely rare event of a crash.

  2. I guess that School of Law “teaches” law in the same way that AOC’s alma mater “teaches” economics. But a law school is a trade school rather than an academic smokehouse; it should be harder to get away with this sort of fakery.

  3. It’s been both amazing and disgusting watching people go
    “EVERYTHING BAD IS BECAUSE OF TRUMP!”, etc. Over and over. It’s… awful.

    I think it was Michael Williamson who said “The only thing more stupid than a Trump lover is a Trump hater”, and it appears he’s right.

  4. It’s funny that other countries are looking into Covid-Treatment with the same drugs right now.

    Does she goes to “The Hague” against these other countries at well? 😀
