Are you starting to get the feeling Floridian drivers do not like 2 wheeled vehicles?

Where a Hispanic Catholic, and a Computer Geek write about Gun Rights, Self Defense and whatever else we can think about.

Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

Ouch…one thing about bicycleists up here- by law they and pedestrians have the right of way,not just in a cross walk either. However, lots of them ride 2 abreast or even 3-4 abreast on 2 lane roads and act like they are in a dump truck…they disobey traffic laws much like car drivers around here and yell and scream and flip you off.If you bump 1 you in a world of hurt and they know it.
Maine passed a law- 3foot minimum space to pass them, THATS fun on a back country road. I used to go by them on my Harley in 2nd gear right wide open.
Fun to see them cringe in my mirror heh heh. Fittness nuts, out there peddlin away gaspin in car exhaust…
Years ago taking my MSF motorcycle new rider class, the instructor said something that’s stuck with me ever since. (This was in the Cali bay area, also infested with jerk bicyclists.)
“It doesn’t matter who has right of way, if you’re on two wheels, you will lose.”
I hate the “right of way” cyclists who take up the road, dart in and out of traffic, and treat you like the asshole because they are on a bike. I wanted to pass a law that if a cyclist (or runner) was not wearing enough high visibility clothing, they were liable if struck by a car. I’d see these guys at night in all black spandex with only one reflectior and it was your ass if you hit one.
I bet the driver didn’t even know he hit the guy. He was probably looking at his phone and thought that thud was the curb.
Bike was wider than the median. No sympathy for the cyclist.
