Today and yesterday mark 83 years since Kristallnacht. Never forget the horror and trauma and never let it happen again. Now more than ever, we must learn the lessons of history and sow a future of love and peace. pic.twitter.com/Hl1D0c8yTm

Hmmm… I wonder who was targeted in Kristallnacht?
What are we supposed to remember?
I dunno, that looks like a picture following one of those mostly peaceful protests from CNN.
Something is missing here.
My local synagogue (just to recap, I’m not allowed to enter while armed) joined other houses of worship in remembering Kristallnacht by…turning lights on. Those lights’ll show them haters.
The coup de grace: they read a couple of poems (per the local paper). Just devastating.
Rick, If you don’t tell them, they won’t know. My wife won’t go into a synagogue unless I bring something heavy in my tallit bag.
Nothing says “Never Again” like a Jew with a gun. Wish I had thought of that line, but I’ve happily embraced it. MartyB
Along those lines: Marty, if you haven’t yet read “Jew without a gun” by Robert Avrech, you should do so soon. It’s excellent (as one should expect from a professional writer).
