Chicago is so out of control with so many violent incidents happening, that this story has been mentioned in passing in their local media.

But I do have to believe there is more at play than an overdose of news. The video being available, yet no station or paper I checked has used it. Probably because that thing about “not perpetuating stereotypes.”

Well according to the Mayor of Atlanta, the surge in violence in her city is because the GOP controls the state legislature and governor’s office.
The murder rate going through the roof is due to lax gun laws and lifting covid lockdowns, and absolutely not due to the City of Atlanta prosecuting police officers for shooting a guy that fought with them, stole a taser, and gave one of them a concussion.
She knows it’s not Atlanta’s fault, because these things are also happening in other cities that were forced to lift covid restrictions too early by GOP controlled states with lax gun laws like…Chicago and New York.
