It was the Oscars last night and keeping with my decades long tradition, I ignored it. Other than the controversy for Best Actor going to Anthony Hopkins rather than Chadwick Boseman because he was black and died (albeit wrong cause of death to win an Oscar this year), nothing seems to be interesting. except the usual hypocrisy.

They are entertainment. If they are believable in the roles they play, I am entertained and they get paid. Anything beyond that is meaningless.
