This lying fucking bullshit:

https://twitter.com/rezaaslan/status/1306410858088521728

If you go into the story what you will read is that there was an inquiry about having an Active Denial System available in case protests in Lafayette Park got out of hand.

This park is adjacent to the Whitehouse so there is a very real concern about rioters using the protest as cover to attack the Whitehouse.

Imagine a protest and one guy with a rifle among the protesters shooting at the Whitehouse.

Whitehouse security is one thing nobody in DC fucks around with.

The Active Denial System uses a frequency of electromagnetic radiation that heats the water in the skin to sub millimeter depths.  The result is that it feels like you stuck your face into a hot oven but it does no physical damage.

If I strapped you to a chair and blasted you with an ADS so the you could not run away, you might get the equivalent to a mild sunburn.

Far less damage than pepper spray, CS gas, or impact projectiles.

But the media is pushing this like it’s thr fucking flesh melting heat ray from the War of the World’s.

I’m convinced what these people really want is for the “peaceful protesters” to open up on the Trump Whitehouse like they did to the Portland Federal Courthouse.

I don’t think they care if the People’s House was damaged if it gets Trump.

Or if it sets precedent that fire bombing the Whitehouse is acceptable because they know Conservatives will never throw a Molotov Cocktail at the Whitehouse no matter what the Ocasi-Cortez/Tlaib administration does by executive order.

It’s that this sort of mendacity is so shamelessly pushed.

Leftist headline: “Trump orders peaceful protesters burned with heat ray.” Shows Getty image of Vietnamese child covered in napalm.

Reality: “DC Guard seeks non-lethal system to prevent Antifa from launching bombs at Whitehouse.”

I fucking hate the garbage media.

Spread the love

  1. Back in 2016 I was telling my Lady that I was concerned that O would declare marshal law and the elections would be compromised.

Anybody that said anything like that out loud was called a nut and laughed at. But it was a real concern for me. Also, saying it meant you were a racist, O would never do anything like that. This is at a time when people on the left were calling for him to have a third term in office.

When it became obvious that Hilary was going to be the next president after O, I believe that any such plans were just dropped. Why do something so stupid when we know that Hilary will just continue the damage done by O?

Today we have 100s of vocal people talking about “What to do when Trump refuses to leave office after he loses.” and it is all treated with nodding acceptance and serious tones of voice.

The entire media is setting up this election to be called into question. If Trump wins, they will scream “Not my president! He stole the election, he suppressed votes, he used the USPS to keep votes from being counted.” The USPS is populated by Dems! They are almost all unionized which has a very strong correlation to being a Dem. There is no way that Trump could issue and order that would negatively affect the USPS that we wouldn’t hear about. (Look! Trump is trying to suppress the vote! He’s taking mailboxes off the streets! How ever will I vote without those mailboxes!”

On the other side, if after election night, the unending counts and recounts magically find enough “lost” votes that trend Democratic and Biden is declared the winner, I’m not sure how the right will treat that. It worries me greatly.

  2. And, when the folks on the right said that 0 might not leave the White House willingly, everyone said they were conspiracy nuts…

If (Gods forbid!) a Harris/Biden… errr…. I mean Biden/Harris ticket does win in November, come Jan 20th, Trump will hand over the keys to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave and leave. This crap about one President refusing to hand over power to the next has been going on since Washington, and so far, with the exception of the last transition, it has happened smoothly.

But, in 2016, the media turned Trump into a boogeyman in order to prevent his election. When he got elected, they had convinced themselves all the lies were actually true, and they had to stop the boogeyman from destroying the country.

This claptrap is just another symptom.

    1. The turn over of the Whitehouse to George W. was not clean. Besides the Clinton’s taking things that belonged to the people, they vandalized many keyboards by removing the “W” key. In addition there were significant issues with email archives.

My source is that my paymaster was the company that had to do the email recovery and archiving and replace all the missing “w” keys

  3. It’s not that conservatives would never through a molotov cocktail at the white house, it’s just that if we ever got to that point we would have just skipped straight ahead to something of a higher order (ANFO, TNT, etc.)

  4. Larry Correia made a posting on the Book of Face about the media. The context was why foreigners have such a weird notion of America, but it applies here, too.

TL;DR version: There is no “American media”. We have a NYC media with affiliates in LA and DC. Foreigners don’t have an accurate picture of what America really looks like, and that shouldn’t be a surprise because our news sources don’t, either.

If you look, every news item you read or see that wasn’t 100% produced locally, is sourced from AP or Gannett or some other NYC- or DC-based conglomerate, and just slightly reworded by the local reporters. Even the articles about your area, if sourced from AP or Gannett, were originally written by NYC or DC reporters.

You’ve probably seen some variation of this clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vaJIqJYAAk4. That shows TV journalists, but the same happens in print, too.

So the information about your local events went from your town to NYC or DC, written up by someone there who has no idea what really happened, and that report got sent back to be lightly tweaked by someone in your town who also has no idea. It’s like designing a product in America, writing the manual in English, but then sending the info to China for production — the English-language user manual is translated into Chinese so the workers know what it’s supposed to do, and then re-translated back into English for packaging and shipment. No wonder your instructions don’t make sense!

So when the NYC media (that hates Trump and conservatives) is providing the source material for a story that will be parroted across the nation, of course it’s going to paint Trump and conservatives in the worst possible light. And they know that because it’s coming from AP or Gannett, that it will be parroted without question.

Because we don’t have an “American media”. We have a NYC media with LA and DC affiliates, and they write all the news from their Ivory Tower point of view.

  5. A heat ray? Thats Cruel and unusual.
10 Mini guns with 100,000 linked rounds per weapon, and just mow the communists down.
Thats Fair, Thats Just, thats what they deserve.
Nothing cruel or usual bout that.

On another note, The Facility is bout done

  6. I, for one, would love to see a War of the World’s heat Ray. Was my favorite book and movie (the 1950s one) as a kid.

Then I discovered Mad Max on the scifi channel and found a new favorite movie. Things keep going the way I think they’re going, I’ll get to live it, too.

  7. Was part of the testing for the ADS as an Antiterrorism Force Protection Officer. Shit works. Got blasted by it was able to handle it for all of 3 seconds. The hot oven description is close. I’d liken it to a kiln or metal foundry. Applications are huge. Not sure about defeating it; we tried a bunch of stuff, none worked. Glad they have it. Unfortunately, it’s easily demagogued by those that don’t understand it, much like the fair tax proposal.

Only one rule: Don't be a dick.
