Will may be still anti-gun but unlike Alec he did attend actual training courses run by actual instructors for his movies and used actual firearms. Alec has by his own admission had literally never touched a real gun in his entire life. And the one time he did he killed someone.
Also some are saying that Alec was on an anti-Trump rant and pointed the gun while ranting. Not sure If true but if it is I’m waiting for MSNBC to blame Trump for it.
I’m amazed at the number of people who think live guns are pointed at people during movie shoots. Movies are illusions; they have lots of clever people who have figured out how to make things look dangerous without actually being dangerous — or at least minimizing the risks.
Movie car chases are more dangerous than movie shoot-outs, and even then it’s rare for people to get hurt.
I guess what you’re saying is true in normal movies run by competent people. Apparently, Rust and Alec Baldwin do not meet that definition.
