I am confused. I was under the impression that Israel was much like Switzerland – trained, experienced soldiers all over the place after their completion of military duties; a rifle (or such) in every home closet; and so on.
Only active duty have guns. Reservists and civilians generally do not. There is no culture of private gun ownership.

I think the title of the video is wildly misleading.
It looks like a Israeli patrol on clean up duty, to find Hamas fighters still in the area.
That has nothing to do with gun culture whatsoever.
