Alex Wind is a Parkland student.  By the rules of the time, he’s now a “survivor.”

This is what he said today at March For Our Lives.

Let me answer that question.

Yes fucker, I want my Rabbi armed.

Anti-Semitic hate crimes shot up 60% in 2017, and anti-Semitic attacks went up 86% in the first three months of the year alone.

An unknown person shoot a shot at a synagogue in Indiana last year.

Back in 2014, a white supremacist engaged in a mass shooting at the Overland Park Jewish Community Center that killed three.

In 1999, there was a similar attack at a Jewish Community Center in Los Angeles.

There is a huge rise in anti-Semitic attacks across Europe, including arson and firebombing of Synagogues, largely (but not solely) caused by Jew hating Muslim migrants.

Next time some fuck yelling “Heil Hilter” opens fire on a Jewish community center or starts stabbing people in a synagogue yelling “kill the Jews” I want the Rabbi to empty a magazine into him.

I’m pretty fucking sure that at least a few of the parishioners at the First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs or Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church feel the same way.

The Bible is filled with references to sheep and shepherds.  Jesus said “I am the good shepherd.”  I hear priests and pastors use that sort of language all the time.

Every shepherd and rancher I knew out west had a rifle in their truck, or ATV or horse saddle scabbard to defend their heard against wolves and coyotes.

Well Reverend Shepherd, get yourself a fucking rifle and do your job.

And BTW, Mickey Mouse has guns.  Disney is surrounded by a big fucking fence, the park is filled with security, and they have speed dial for the local SWAT team.  There are few places on this planet with that many people in one location that are as safe as Disney.

Spread the love

  1. Robert Avrech mentioned that his synagogue (orthodox, in CA no less) encourages the members to come armed.
And of course, for extra explosive power applies to the empty skull of the kid you quoted, a references to Rabbi Bendory’s writings would come in handy: http://jpfo.org/rabbi/rabbi-archive.htm
For that matter, Jesus is quoted as saying “he among you that does not have a sword, let him sell his coat and buy one”.

  2. They got his last name right-wind.. ask all these snowflakes if they will put a sign on their front lawn that says “gun free zone”….

  3. I would expect my rabbi to be learned in the laws of G-d, that is sort of his job description. G-d has some very clearly defined thoughts in the matter in Leviticus 19:16, which other rabbis expanded upon millennia ago:

“You shall not stand by [the shedding of] your fellow’s blood. [Do not stand by] watching your fellow’s death, when you are able to save him; for example, if he is drowning in the river or if a wild beast or robbers come upon him.” — Torath Kohanim 19:41; Talmud, Sanhedrin 73a (in an expansion on Leviticus 19:16)

No to mention in Sanhedrin 72a you’ll find the plainly stated rule, “If someone comes to kill you, kill him first.” Or as paraphrased by that most learned of rabbinical students, Mal Reynolds, ‘If someone tries to kill you, you try and kill them right back.’

Judeo-Christianity has an ethical emphasis on non-aggression _not_ non-violence.

“The Lord is my Shepherd,” says the Psalm… But G-d didn’t make us sheep. He made us tool-using apes.
