He got properly roasted, specially after he wrote some stupid shit trying to appear Solomonic and “find a middle ground” which only accomplished to be derided by gun owners for ringing the bell to the moms.
Apparently his use and good intentions have come to the end of usefulness for Bloomberg and his gang.
The Everytown for Gun Safety Victory Fund rolled out a $250,000 ad campaign Monday focusing on Republican-held House seats in Texas.
The gun control group’s ads will run in districts held by Reps. Dan Crenshaw, Michael McCaul, John Carter and Chip Roy, as well as the state’s 24th Congressional District, where Beth Van Duyne is running for Congress.

The Left is good at one thing, playing the long game. They never were going to make nice with Crenshaw. The purpose of meeting with him was always to poison his base of support to make it easier to unseat him.

FTR, I think his mistake was being naive enough to think the Demanding Mommies had a similar ethical system and deserved to be listened to. You have to remember, he came from an environment with strong ethics and strong love of country. The Mommies are completely dedicated to remaking the country and will lie through their teeth to get their way.

Let’s say I got elected to Congress. And let’s say MDA wanted to take a picture with me. And let’s say I agreed and wore my NRA Golden Eagles belt buckle and AAC t-shirt shirt and Bushmaster hat in the picture to troll them, what would the gun owning public think?
