Given his reaction when his gun discharged, they may want to rethink using him in a ‘guard’ capacity. I don’t think he’s cut out to be protecting anything.
While coming to the defense of an idiot is unpleasant, he does get hit in the jaw with the shotgun. Surprise “BANG” and surprise “WHOMP” to the head. Reaction is not surprising. “Where the fuck did that come from” is probably top of mind for him.
