— I’ll bet that there are a majority of millennials that have never heard of the book or the movie To Kill A Mockingbird — even though it’s been in print constantly since 1960, and is taught in high schools and colleges.
Yes, it has many themes, but to me, the big lesson is that, when overwhelming evidence showed that the man accused of rape was innocent, and unfairly and falsely accused — the home-town jury convicted him anyway!
Why let facts get in the way of a good narrative?
