So, the Barret is legal in 49 other states, yet we have not seen one commercial (or other) aircraft downed by the rifle or the rounds it shoots. You figure after 34 years since its introduction, the Antis would have stoop playing the same old song. As far as I know, the only real State-Side threat that these rifles bring are to the lower back and the wallet.

They banned the .50 BMG but you can get a .510 DTC in Cali with no more effort than buying any other CA-legal rifle there.
