Meanwhile in upstate, where the population is declining rapidly and jobs like these are desperately needed, various GOP Assemblymen and Senators have tried to catch the ear of Amazon in a last ditch effort to get them to build here and stay. Cuomo has been completely silent, proving to us once again that he only cares about New York Shitty and has nothing but contempt for upstate.
Interesting, he calls out everyone except AO-C. She was the most visible and vocal opponent, or at least she took the victory lap. Ironically, It could have been written by a republican, except for the obligatory praise of New York’s progressive “values.”

In 2011 Gov. Cuomo’s office launched the marketing campaign “New York Open for Business”. Remember those ads that they ran nationwide? Always made me chuckle. In a 2012 campaign, they came with “The New New York”, like something actually changed in the way the state or city does business. Another knee slapper. They spent 250M in three years on those. NY continues spending 50M a year in marketing.
These people have a learning disability. They can’t understand why businesses flee environments with high tax, high control, and high cost of living.
So some folks did not get that bump in a bank account balance they were expecting? So now, like all politicians, they will lie like Monica’s boyfriends wife.
When a NY Democrat starts openly questioning your integrity and intelligence, it is officially time to rethink your life.
