Biden/Harris event in Arizona and it seems no supporters shows up

This is bad. Via Clayton Cramer.

If you feel like it, go to the tweet itself and enjoy the mental contortions that came about elaborating excuses for the depressing lack of people coming to see the candidates.  They run the gamut dfrom “Double Secret Probations” to “You people are stupid, we have the internet now. We don’t need rallies!

And with that being said: DON’T STAY HOME, GO VOTE FOT TRUMP!

Don’t vote because you believe there are so many of us that your vote is not needed. Make sure your vote is included. We just don’t need a win, we need a bitchslaping landslide

Antifa/BLM is not about justice against colonialism but Mob Rule, Power Acquisition & Anarchy.

These idiots will tell you at the drop of the hat that they for the “oppressed people” and more than likely will also say they are all for the Environment and against big corporations and that gives them the authority to topple down TR’s statue.

Theodore Roosevelt as Secretary of the Navy, sent Admiral Dewey to the Philippines to deal with the Navy of  Spanish Empire who owned the place back then. Then as Rough Rider, he fought side by side with the Buffalo Soldiers to remove the Spanish empire from Cuba.  He was the first President to invite a black man, Booker T. Washington,  for official dinner at the White House, took on the meat industry for its unhealthy practices and also used the Sherman Act to bust railroad monopolies.

And how about conservation and Nature? Teddy was a naturalist since his infancy and wrote books about Nature among other subjects. But it was as President where he shined in this area.

From 1901 to 1909, he signed legislation establishing five new national parks: Crater Lake, Oregon; Wind Cave, South Dakota; Sullys Hill, North Dakota (later re-designated a game preserve); Mesa Verde, Colorado; and Platt, Oklahoma (now part of Chickasaw National Recreation Area)

By the end of 1906 he had proclaimed four national monuments: On September 24 he proclaimed Devils Tower (Wyoming). On December 8, he proclaimed El Morro (New Mexico), Montezuma Castle (Arizona), and Petrified Forest (Arizona). Additionally, he interpreted the authority expansively, protecting a large portion of the Grand Canyon (Arizona) as a national monument in 1908. By the end of his term he had reserved six predominantly cultural areas and twelve predominantly natural areas in this manner. Half of the total land area was initially administered by the Agriculture Department and was later transferred to Interior Department jurisdiction, since the National Park Service would not be created until 1916.

Over a century later and because a combination of lack of historical knowledge and latest political fashion, his statute is brought down like he was Adolf Hitler or some slave trader by idiots would probably erect a statue of Greta Thunberg thinking she has done more for the Environment.

And these are the people that demand access to power so they can rule upon us.

USA Today published an Instapundit article on gun rights

This OpEd was written by Glenn Harlan Reynolds, professor of law at the Univerity of Tennessee, and creator of the Instapundit blog.

Riots of 2020 have given the Second Amendment a boost
Riots over George Floyd predictably resulted in billions in property damage, but it might be a surprise that they have strengthened the argument for gun rights.

Already from the headline, I will have to agree that yes, they have.

This year’s riots, sparked by the death of George Floyd and continued in the names of several others, have destroyed billions of dollars in property, cost numerous people their lives and businesses and jobs, and promoted what will probably be a decade or more of de-urbanization. But whatever else happens, they will have accomplished an important social change. Thanks to these riots, the case for the Second Amendment and the personal right to own weapons is growing steadily stronger, as is the legal case for private gun ownership.

I think the American people have proven that by voting with their wallets, this year is breaking all sorts of records on gun sales.

That’s the thesis of a new paper by George Mason University law professor David E. Bernstein notes that the experience of this year’s riots undercuts the classic argument against an individual right to arms. While gun-control proponents have for decades argued that individual gun ownership is unnecessary in the modern era, where we have police forces to control crime, that hasn’t worked out very well this year for people in numerous urban centers around America.

We’ve seen the police pull back and allow riots to happen in some parts of the country.  In others, the local politicians have defunded, destroy the morale, and generally undermine the police, harming their ability to do their jobs.

Bernstein offers an extensive review of happenings in cities ranging from Seattle to Louisville, Portland to Chicago and New York and Raleigh, and many other cities. In case after case, police were told to stand down, in order to avoid provoking violence. And in each case, the result was more violence, more property destruction, and more damage to businesses and jobs, while political leaders stood by.

Then there have been the prosecutors.  In Portland, the attorney’s office dropped charges against 70% of arrested rioters.  In Saint Louis, all rioters had their charges dropped.  Chicago attorney Kim Foxx (of Jussie Smollett fame) did the same.  In New York City, the crime spike has been credibly blamed on bail reform.

Criminals are not facing punishment for their crimes which emboldens them to go further.

Bernstein recounts, with heavy documentation, numerous cases along these lines from numerous cities around the nation. In addition, he notes other cities like Atlanta and Los Angeles, where police called in sick to protest the actions of city leaders, leaving citizens unprotected.

Miguel and I have been saying it over and over again, when the mob hits, you are on your own.

Even in normal times, gun owners joke that “when seconds count, the police are only minutes away.” But, sometimes, they’re not coming at all. Sometimes they’re not even allowed to show up. (And, historically, political leaders have sometimes used the denial of police protection to opponents as a means of opening those opponents up to violent attacks.)

Portland city government has prevented Portland police from defending federal property in the age of Trump.  Not just the federal courthouse in recent months but all the way back in 2018, Portland Police were prevented by the mayor from responding to riots and attacks against ICE officials.

In 2020, “the police will protect you” seems particularly hollow.

Two billion dollars in damages due to riots.  Property devastated by fire.  Looting.  Murders.

If there is one part of this article I will disagree with, it is that it doesn’t go far enough.

I have watched the live streams from these riots and I am convinced of one thing, 2020 has shown why it’s time to do away with the NFA.

The mob is throwing Molotov cocktails and homemade bombs, and are getting away with it.  NFA laws are not being enforced against the mob.

In this sort of large crowds in close quarters violence we’ve seen, this is where I want an SBR for self-defense.

In a previous post, Miguel uploaded a video of a car that had driven at low speed through a crowed get boxed in by two Antifa vehicles.

One person in the comments referred to the pickup as a technical.

I would agree with that assessment.

When a pickup full of Antifa is trying to box you in to stop you and pull you from your car to kill you, you should have the right to defend yourself against a technical the way our soldiers to, with a 40mm grenade.

Antifa has grenades, so should I.

One man or one family against a mob needs all the firepower it can, full auto and HE need to be tools in the toolbox.

2020 has changed the paradigm for self-defense.  It’s not just the mugger or the rapist you may be facing, but an angry army of brownshirts out to Kristallnacht your neighborhood.

This is a scary endorsement for Biden

I saw this tweet and I was wondering who was Madonna’s friend and if there was a story behind her voting.

And then I realized that is Madonna.

Sorry, this is not being vain by trying to cheat age with a few nips and tucks. This is a rejection of your identity as a human being for whatever psychological issues are you having and can’t deal with like other human beings. This level of facial reconstruction was once the realm of those who had a major disfiguring accident or needed the change of looks because they were targets for death. Somebody the replies commented about the pin-prick pupils and I would not be surprised if there was some of that too.

This is a full fledged live album of somebody whose subconscious is screaming for help… and the conscious is telling us to vote Biden?

I don’t think so.

California Retail Theft Law under $950 creates organized criminal monsters

You have seen  videos like this here and other places. People just stealing stuff from stores and the owners and employees without a recourse because cops won’t even bother to arrest the culprit for crimes they know they won’t be prosecuted.

Well, you knew all those thousand of bottles of shampoo, razors and boxes of OTC medicines had to go somewhere, right? How about an organized ring of criminals that actually needs a 2 story high warehouse to process and secure the stolen merchandise as evidence?

Eight million dollars recovered from just this one gang. Forty million in loss revenue for the state and the average family pays an extra $500 on incr5ease pricing. And whatever cost the 8 month investigation and the work of a newly formed task force just to deal with this “harmless crime.”

“But they have insurance.” never rang so hollow and stupid.

Today is going to suck

For those of you who are old enough and have not been brainwashed, today is Columbus Day.

For the radical Left, who have been steeped in an education the consists of identity politics, victimology, and racism, today is a Day of Rage.

It already started late last night in Portland (where else) with the destruction of statues of Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt.

Be prepared for that to continue through today.

And remember, these people want to kill you.

The greatest irony of all is that they call Columbus a mass murderer, but many of these people are associated with groups like La Raza who identify with a culture that was literally a death cult that sacrificed 84,000 people in four days and ritualistically murdered children to appease their gods.

It should be noted that the other local tribes in Mesoamerica joined with Cortez against the Aztec because they were tired of being oppressed, enslaved, and used as human scarifies to the Aztec empire.

I bet you’ll ever hear that mentioned during an Indigenous People’s Day march against Columbus.

Antifa is preparing for war and if I can’t have grenades, I want a 458 Lott

A Tweet from an Antifa associated account:

More evidence they are preparing for war.  Actual, factual war.

I keep saying, I want grenades.  When a mob in armor is coming at me, my AR-15 loaded with green tip isn’t going to be enough.

But until I get grenades, I might consider a 458 Lott.

A steel plate may stop the bullet, but if it has enough energy to shatter a concrete block through the plate, that’s enough energy to crush a rib cage and rupture a pair of lungs.

Believe me, if I could afford a 50 BMG, at this point I’d own one.

It’s getting scary out there, stay safe.
