It screws up the Standard Racist attacks by the Left. And it helps if English is your second or third language and actually lived in a Socialist Paradise so they cannot call you ignorant or less informed on the facts.

PS: I know that the word “Spic” is supposed to be offensive to the more sensitive of the Hispanic Heritage. I really don’t care much about what they think. If they are silly enough to be riled up by a word, it is their problem, not mine. My recommendation is to stop being so sensitive about words and be more thoughtful about what we want for OUR country.

Election 2010 is done and the blood from the massacre is still fresh but we shouldn’t be done yet. Wherever possible, recalls should be implemented on local Pols that deserve it.

Miami-Dade Major Carlos Alvarez is in the cross hairs of a well deserved recall petition. Ignoring the economic reality of South Florida where those who still can manage to stay barely afloat in their house payments received a nasty surprise in the form of raised property taxes. In my particular case, my taxes jumped almost 30% (not the 13% the county claimed) and I am telling you, that hurts like hell.

Local Billionaire Norman Braman organized a drive to recall Major Alvarez and get the necessary 52,000 signatures to trigger a special recall vote. The law says that the challengers have two months to collect the requires amount of signatures and, if it is any indication of the mood of the people, Braman announced that in less than three weeks, they collected 90,000 signatures. Now if that is not a major flag saying that people are seriously pissed with the Strong Mayor, I really don’t know what else could be. Next on the list of targets, the Council members that approved that measure but run by a different group of people.

It probably won’t be an easy recall. Mayor Alvarez has the backing of many influential people including the Florida Marlins owners who are getting a sweet $350 million dollars of our money to build an stadium that will probably be empty or close to empty some 365 days a year barring the occasional concert or other major public gathering not having to do with the Marlins. Well, the Marlins suck as a baseball team and as the Cubans around here say “Ni siquiera su Mamas los van a ver jugar.” (Not even their mothers go to see them play”)

Hopefully we will say goodbye to Mr. Carlos “I also belong to Bloomberg’s MAIG Cadre” Alvarez sometime next year.

Walker said his son Aaron was home at the time, and he was armed with a weapon. Walker said the trio knocked on the door twice and then jumped the fence in the backyard and broke in through the bedroom window. Walker said his son then sounded the alarm system and started shooting. “He took a couple shots at him, but he didn’t shoot at them to kill them, he just shot at them to try to scare them off,” Walker revealed.

It warms my heart when three miscreants find themselves over matched and bleeding by a single solitary fella with a gun. You would think by now that criminals would have noticed it is a bad idea to break into houses in states with Castle Doctrine Laws and people with the wherewithal to defend themselves.

My Favorite Threeper is also on the Four Suggestions Clown Car and we were having the usual discussion in the club’s forum (he spouting his verbal melee and me wasting my time replying and pointing out his idiocies) when he threw one out that I must admit caught me momentarily by surprise. The gist of it was: The Four Rules of Gun Safety are nothing but Collectivism trying to impose rules on good people.

I am still trying to digest the level of stupidity behind the concept. I don’t think I’ll be able to.

In the Biblio Facial Social Network, the cries of desperation over the November Massacre were at full swing. A selected/anointed Floridians were condemning The People for attending voting and doing it not for those that they should have according to them. The ever-present tea-bagger pejorative was quickly thrown into the mix with the inevitable “I am moving out of here” for good measure (And they never move, damn it!) One particular lady wrote:

Pretty much who I see complaining are a bunch of white Anglos accusing everybody who does not fit their narrative of being racist, extremist and anti intellectuals. There was no room for healthy debate with your side because you do not believe in debate. People got tired and voted your side out.
