Police in Colorado brazenly violated the Fourth Amendment rights of dozens of motorists when they illegally detained them and searched their vehicles while attempting to locate a bank robber in 2012, a lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court late last week alleges.

The lawsuit, filed on behalf of 14 of the 28 individuals who were “detained, removed, searched, restrained — and terrified” in a “more-than-two-hour mass roundup of innocent men, women and children at a traffic section,” was filed last Friday and names the City of Aurora and the police chief, among others, as defendants.

I predict we will see a sad case of forced civilian self-defense against cops soon and nobody is gonna be happy about it..well, Shannon Watts and Mike Bloomberg will but they are vultures.

 

I also think that anybody engaged in the practice of “Open Carry in YOUR FACE!!!” (henceforth “OCIYF!”) is behaving like a jackass……Another rationale offered by the “OCIYF!” crew is that they are merely strengthening their Second Amendment rights through the exercise of those rights. Indeed, they’ll be happy to imply that it’s not they who are the problem, but rather that the problem lies with those of us who don’t engage in “OCIYF!” who “hide” our Second Amendment rights—after all, if we don’t use our gun rights, we’ll lose our gun rights.

Here’s some breaking news for you “OCIYF!” people:

I find this article funny because it shows where racism is truly and really seated: In the liberal minds. It has to come as a shock that some among the Hispanic can consider themselves Whites. Maybe they are sell-outs trying to get a share of that White Privilege? Skin pigmentation problems perhaps? Because when you say Hispanic, this is what their mind pictures:

Hispanic is not a race, it is a culture that comes from a single origin: The Iberian Peninsula. And even within that base, we get sub-divisions based on language, one going for Spanish and the other for Portuguese.  After that, get ready because it has more twists and turns than a Telenovela.

As skin color goes, you have a great influx of White being injected on South America more than in central America as more people moved there because it was easier on the navigation. Then the slaves were brought over from Africa and that added to the mix and a new flavor was created called Mulatto.

Now, human nature ain’t static or rides formulas for strict mixing or not mixing. In the early Hispano World, relationships across race lines were not as verbotten as Europe would like to had it back in the day because no sane woman would dare take a chance to cross half the world to an unsafe place. We ain’t talking a quick jump from the West of England the New England of now but literally almost half the Atlantic Ocean to reach South America. That meant little on the Female companionship and men being men…..

That is the first part. The second part is more immigration from other countries than Spain and Portugal. For some reason,  in Venezuela we had a great influx of Lebanese people at the end of the XIX century (and for also obscure reasons, they got called Turcos-Turks. Don’t ask me why) Alongside the Lebanese, we had Germans that came over to do scientific explorations and decided to stay and even bring their families. Also the first albeit small batch of Italians start to come in and in even smaller scale, Chinese.

Crap really hits the fan for Latin America after World War II. Spaniards leaving for the New World after the Spanish Civil War and Italians doing the same. A tide of Germans flock to the Southern Cone where some lost ancestors had settled decades before. And hell, I done forgot Jewish people, but they have been wandering since Fernando and Isabella kicked them out of Spain. Out of that smorgasbord, you are bound to have pretty much anything but a race defined by color. And let’s not get into the cultural part because I don’t have that much time or space in the server. Let’s just say that Colombia has a different culture than Peru and than of Brazil and that of Argentina and so on and forth.

Don’t be,  just enjoy it.  My Almost-Brother (neighbor I grew up with) is what you might call a light mulatto, my best friend and ex-business partner is blond with blue eyes and one of my godsons is half Chinese, half Jewish. When I told my parents I was gonna get married to a “Gringa” they asked me to what was she. I told them that she was German-Irish with 1/4 Cherokee Indian.  My mother fussed and said she was not asking about that but to describe her physically and when she found out she was all of 4’11” I got their approval. They were more worried about their own misconception that all gringas were 7 foot tall and them being petite themselves wouldn’t get along. 🙂

So Gun Control groups are up in arms because the NRA pointed out the obvious: Tweeter hash tags will not rescue kidnapping victims nor prevent terrorism.

They link to an article by Eric Lach “NRA Thinks #BringBackOurGirls Hashtag Isn’t 2nd Amendment-y Enough.” He does not say other than quoting Wayne LaPierre, but the title is enough.

LaPierre said in an editorial:

“Tyrants and terrorists, like murderers, rapists and robbers, understand only one thing: force. They laugh at, and are emboldened by, weakness. That is why it is important to preserve and promote the right to keep and bear arms. An armed citizenry deters violence.”

How dare he? Doesn’t he know the power of Almighty HashTags ridding on  mighty unicorns over a field of multicolored shamrocks? With the power of Wishful Thinking and 140 characters, the kidnapped girls will be teleported to the loving arms of their parents….or then again more likely probably not.

But of course, the following little tidbit of news is not being shared by the idiots allegedly caring for what this girls went through and for what many others will also go through:

Hotoro, Nigeria (CNN) — Residents of three villages in northeastern Nigeria took security into their own hands this week, repelling attacks by Boko Haram insurgents and killing more than 200 of them, residents and officials said.

Hundreds of Boko Haram fighters stormed the villages of Menari, Tsangayari and Garawa in the ethnic Shuwa-dominated Kalabalge District on Tuesday. Boko Haram — the group responsible for the kidnapping of nearly 300 schoolgirls from the same region — was met with stiff resistance as locals put up a fierce fight, witnesses said.

How about that? Armed resistance dealt with the bad guys! Who in his Twitter Idled mind would have thunk it? And what do the rest of Nigerians want? Another exclusive Almighty HashTag? Nope, they want guns to fight the Boko Haram. Why?

A security source told SaharaReporters that Nigerians resident in many remote areas of the North-East seemed to have decided that the best way to repel incessant attacks by murderous gangs of Boko Haram insurgents was to take their destiny in their hands.

A member of the vigilante group involved in Friday’s ambush told Saturday Tribune that Nigerian soldiers appeared unable or unwilling to wage an effective war against the insurgents.

Terrorist on the loose, ineffective government and scared soldiers do not make for a happy lifestyle and people are just sick of that.

As Longdon sat waiting for her flight, a screen in the concourse showed footage of the press conference. A tall, thin man standing nearby stared at Longdon, then back at the screen. Then he walked up to Longdon and spat in her face. No one else blinked.

This smelled funny as hell when it came out. I did notice that it did not get a whole lot of traction in any mayor outlet or even most of the Pro Gun groups so that kinda lend support to the idea that Denmark was indeed smelling rotten.

And it apparently is a very stinky lie. The devil is in the details and those are not panning out. Now what it is needed is somebody requesting the surveillance video for that date and time and see if we can see Ms. Longdon and this alleges attacker.

Five gives you ten she is not gonna be invited back to any more rallies unless it is proven it was all just the doing of Mother Jones.

They do all the lying and it is the ammunition we need to keep beating them. We do not need to resort to those tactics because we have truth on our side and it is a strategy that always comes back to bite you in the ass.
