What makes it even more egregious is the fact that Shannon will not, under any circumstance, engage in a  debate with anybody. She will not concede interviews with anybody that will challenge her position one iota and will only do presentations that she can control and beat hasty retreat under cover of armed bodyguards if anybody appears to challenge her.  Weapons’ grade Plutonium does not have this many layers of insulation for storage or transportation.

I guess I’ll have to wait till after noon to see what kind of get-together Moms Demand will develop. One thing is for sure, we will get an official count from them about 3 to 4 time larger than it actually happened. And well crafted group pictures too.

This is the protest coordinated by The Georgia Alliance for Social Justice, Better Georgia, Gays Against Guns, Guns Down, Pride Fund to End Gun Violence and others. I guess they did not have the funding to bus enough people from out-of-town to beef up the look.

Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.) will lead a protest Saturday against the National Rifle Association’s (NRA) annual convention.Lewis will join hundreds of gun control supporters in a rally against the NRA, which is holding its convention in downtown Atlanta inside of Lewis’s congressional district.
Lewis is teaming up with gun control group Everytown for Gun Safety to oppose what the group calls the NRA’s “guns everywhere agenda.”

The “Protest”will begin at 11:00 am and probably dissolve the second Dana Loesch start asking questions to Shannon Watts or it is time for lunch, whichever comes first.

Interesting enough, the researchers did not blame the “loose and deadly gun laws” in Florida:

And it makes sense that guns are not the issue. All other races/nationalities in Miami Dade have equal access to guns  and they do not show the GSW rate of mortality.  Therefore other factors must be taken in consideration above the politics of it all. The problem is not gonna go anywhere because it would mean the politicians would have to accept that decades of social programs have been useless.  Guns are easier to blame in front of the cameras.

When I was a kid, I loved watching Bill Nye The Science Guy.  I was always a huge science geek and Bill Nye and Mr. Wizard were my favorite.

As as adult, I was disappointed to watch him turn into a political hack using climate change as his cause celebre to jet set around the world with politics giving speeches.

Then I saw this:

We can talk about the negative effects of a low birth rate on the economy and how that is going to hurt retiring baby boomers.

But that’s not really the point.

Let’s make no bones about this, once you appoint yourself the arbiter of how many children a family is allowed to have, you have taken position of committing genocide.  Time is your gas chamber.  There is no moral difference in ending the lineage of a people by killing their children versus stopping them from having any.  Limiting a birth rate to below replacement, just stretches the genocide out over a few generations.

Of course this begs the question, hoe does someone like Bill Nye propose to punish the unacceptably fecund?  Are parents to be jailed?  How does that stop them from reproducing again?  Is compulsory birth control required?  Sterilization?

The Left argues ceaselessly that abortion bans are a form of control over women’s bodies and is therefore bad.  Yet telling women and families that they cannot have children is not the control of women’s bodies, or at least it’s not the “bad” kind of control.

In less than a minute, Bill Nye transformed himself from a partisan hack to a petty tyrant taking a position of soft genocide.

No one, no one, no one has the right to dictate the makeup of my family.  Past dictators have tried to do that to my people before.  I will not let it happen again.  I don’t care about the reason.  Not for the Vaterland.  Not for Mother Earth.
