Unfortunately, as much as it sounds like satire, it isn’t

I made a new Tik Tok account intending to get over to the right-wing side of the platform. For one, unlike Facebook or Twitter, since my feed (FYP, for your page) aligns so well with my interests, I never come across Republicans on Tik Tok. And two, I thought I would find idiots sticking spoons to their arms (vaccinations) or some other moronic thing. Instead, what I came across was shocking.

The more I dug and the further I tailored my FYP, the more shocking the content became. Although I don’t think they have given it a name, I’m pretty sure I curated my Tik Tok feed to #DomesticTerroristTok.

It didn’t take long to find hundreds of videos where these Trumpers and so-called patriots were hanging black American flags.

Black American flags are the flags that mean “no quarter shall be given.” They are the opposite of the white flag of surrender.

It means that they will not surrender, will not take prisoners, and are willing to die for their cause. It means they will execute their enemies.

Who are their enemies? Pretty much any non-Conservative. You know, Democrats, Liberals, LGBTQ, BIPOC, and the vaccinated.

Over the last few years, the right has been vocal about calling non-Conservatives the enemy and make it apparent through their actions that they think we are their enemies.

The article goes on from there about how horrible and racist and violent Republicans are.

Now would be a good time to bring up this article from Slate:

HermanCainAward, one of the fastest-growing subreddits on Reddit.com, is exactly what it sounds like: an archive of those who have been hospitalized and/or killed by COVID and didn’t believe the disease could harm them.

These people also doxx and harass the families of people who die of COVID.

Then there has been social media post after social media post and OpEd after OpEd, many covered on this blog, of Leftists outright saying Conservatives/Republicans/Trump supporters and the unvaccinated should be denied every form of health care and left to die in the streets.

Not to mention years of internet commando Leftists saying “if you want me to take your guns from your cold dead hands that’s what we’ll do.”

So even if this black flag of no quarter thing is real, is the people like minded to LivingBlueTx who have been fucking around and now they are clutching their pearls and diving on their fainting couches at the thought their neighbors are finally saying “go ahead and find out.”

If you want an insight into the mind of the people ruining Texas, this is it and it’s utterly insane.

I went to bed yesterday thinking that I could not remember what was my caloric intake when I began my diet last year. I am now down to 1,400 calories a day and I always try to actually stay under it by 100 calories or so knowing that at least once or twice  a month I may go over because an unsuspected sausage biscuit may happened to cross my path in a moment of weakness.  The Noom app is worth its code in gold just for the extensive database of meals with its calories by portions which makes easy as hell to control what you eat.  But I found out it also keeps your history of calories consumed along with your weight and I have to say, modesty aside, I impressed the hell out of myself.

I reduced my calories by more than 1,000!

I weighed myself this morning at 236 pounds, but I do not declare that being official unless I keep it or go under that for three days on a row.  So, for accounting purposes, I have lost 163 pounds since I began dieting almost a year and a half ago.  Back then, I was starting to buy 4XL clothing (one of the things that hinted strongly I needed to lose some pounds) and I am now having to buy new clothes in Large because most of my stuff is simply too big and I look like the youngest kid in the family who inherited the older brothers’ apparel.

Although the “experts” say I should be weighing 160 pounds (Not since 1977, so screw that), my final goal is 220 pounds/100 kilos, a nice even number.  According to Noom, I should be reaching that number sometime before Thanksgivings which means I will celebrate with a plateful of the Missus “Four to Six Cheeses Thanksgivings Lasagna.” after that, I’ll just worry about staying in the neighborhood with a plus/minus 2 pounds variation which is (for some mysterious reason) what you gain when you eat one single Cracker Barrel Country Ham biscuit, go figure.

So I could never dance, I quit drinking decades ago, I quit smoking 5 years ago in November and now I stopped overindulging myself with food and moved back to Tennessee. Shit, I believe I became a Baptist when I wasn’t looking 😀

UPDATE: I have been told apparently there is some sort of unwritten law where I am supposed to post before and after photos. The only one I have of me “before” showing the circumference is one from 7 years ago and I reckon some 350 to 360 pounds.  The after photo is from 10 days ago.

Maybe my tinfoil hat is getting tight but I can’t help but think the plan is:

Step 1: Use CDC COVID-powers to grab the guns and disarm us.

Step 2: Crack down on disarmed America the same way disarmed Australians are being cracked down on right now.

Eighteen months ago the CDC was another government bureaucracy that you mostly heard of in the context of zombie movies.

Them came COVID.

Now the CDC has the power to shut down the economy, force you into lockdown, demand you wear a mask, cost you your job if you don’t get a vaccine, and can decide if landlords can evict deadbeat tenants.

Eighteen months ago the CDC going after guns as a public health threat would have generated a few studies that few people would have read.

Today, only God knows what powers the current COVID supercharged CDC has to go after guns.

It was because of the CDC that police filled in skate parks with sand, arrested people sitting alone outside, shut down business, stopped Christians from going to Church, raided Synagogues, and welded the gates of Jewish cemeteries closed.

This is what the CDC can unleash against gun owners.

Then there is the public.

The words “public health threat” have driven people into insanity, grocery shopping in homemade biohazard suits.

Imagine every Branch Covidian having a conniption, streaking about someone else not wearing a mask in public, feeling empowered to do the same about guns because their spiritual leaders at the CDC described guns as the next “public health threat.”

The last 18 months have shown just how much power the CDC has to overrule to US Constitution.  When the Supreme Court told the CDC they didn’t have the authority to extend eviction moratorium, they did it anyways.

This is the agency that will come after our guns.

Florida has freedoms? THE HORROR!

This reminds me of the Brady Campaign attempt at scaring people into coming to Florida after the passing of Stand your Ground when they were warning visitors not talk loudly or use violent movements of the hands because they might be interpreted as a violent act and get them shot. Apparently the advertising morons from the cold north had never seen Cubans and other species of us Latinos talking loud and using so many hand gestures we make Italians look mute paraplegics.

This only shows who are the true bigots, may they be through race or politics.

And the title should be “You will comply!”

Chicago has begun installing “Bleeding Control Kits” across the city under the new Safe Chicago program amid an increase in gun violence.

The city will install 426 Bleeding Control Kits in 269 Chicago buildings, including City Hall and Chicago Public Library locations. Each kit can treat up to eight victims.

Every kit comes equipped with a tourniquet, gauze, shears, gloves, and an instruction manual on how to best use it in instances of “life threatening bleeding emergencies” that can result from falls, penetrating injuries (such as stabbings), gunshot wounds, and more.

I am not going to badmouth the placement of life-saving equipment across the city. But sincerely, it is just a talisman unless some basic training is offered and people want to take it.  We can only hope that when needed, somebody knows how to use it and save a life.

Do we need to go over the fact that Chicago is so out of control, politicians actually had to implement this program? It has failed to deal with the criminal element and keeps choosing the political treatment rather than an actual solution.

And I hope you have your own Bleeding Control packs by now. You can always start small and inexpensive, but do have something with you. The training is up to you.
