We breed a special kind of stupid in Florida. Either that or somebody got cable recently and watches one of the crapppiest TV shows in history. After this, what is next? Rabies shots for leather holsters?

  1. Ha ha ha. This bill’s provision is about the funniest thing I’ve read in at least a week. These politicians are the most psychologically projecting buffoons to ever walk the earth; lets keep reelecting them just for laughs.

  2. Someone needs to investigate the campaign contributions to Audrey Gibson. Are these anger management classes are outsourced to private companies? Donors to her campaign?

  3. Wait a second, they want to make it illegal to buy ammunition if you’ve never attended an anger management class?

Even if you’ve never lost your temper in your lifetime(and therefore never been assigned an anger management class)?

That violates the 5th amendment in about 3 different ways.

  4. […] A Florida lawmaker, Audrey Gibson (D), is proposing no one be permitted to buy ammunition unless the…. Somehow I don’t think we’re the ones who need that. How about requiring that before holding public office. Hey, it’s common sense. […]

  5. “……and this is your mind on Drugs……”
And you thought my baby, Debbie W-S, was Dippie. 🙁

    1. Eeeeewww – the mere thought of dws being anyone’s ‘baby’ (on any level) should REQUIRE some sort of ‘counseling’ – wouldn’t that make said person like brain dead or something?

    1. Go read that bill. The anger management stuff is a small add-on to a big law that replaces the word “handgun” with “Firearm”. The 3-day wait applies to everything, although they left the exemption for concealed carry permit holders in place.

In other words, no CC permit, no walking into Walmart or BassPro and walking out with a shotgun or rifle.

  6. Folks need to understand, Gibson’s district is one of those throw away districts that are carved out specifically for blacks. And in the grand tradition of the blacks that represent the Jax area, both in state and federal government, this lady is barely capable of stringing an understandable sentence or two to form a coherant thought. It is her demorat party handlers that prepare her for the rare public appearance or submission of nonsensical legislative proposals.
