Number were not in their favor and they made a bet their ball could not pay.

I do believe mistakes like this will not happen again often. Cops will probably engage faster and harder to discourage this “unruly” behavior. The people’s only chance is to be so violent, cops will not risk confrontation again for a simple paycheck.

Anyway, life in Prison Country should be interesting in the days to come.

  1. Lots of good little authoritarian sheeple on that comment thread. “If we do what the gov’t says, we’ll get our freedoms back”

    Morons.

  2. About damn time. So who will learn most from this? The people who have demonstrated that police can’t stop them, or the police who will arm up and be more aggressive? It’s the people’s fight to lose, if they have the balls.

  3. I’m waiting for people in Australia to start being shot at with live ammunition. Because we all know where this is going to go.

I briefly thought of what happened to Romania in 1989. Of course back then the military was given live ammunition but they didn’t shoot the people. But that is then and this is now and this is fascist Australia not communist Romania. And to Australia killing literally The entire population of Australia that does not abide by the lockdowns is better than one person getting Covid. And I would think the military is much more open to killing civilians en masse. What are they going to do, protest?

Once the shooting begins I wonder how people are going to react. I’m not talking about Australia specifically. However they are the most likely candidate to start followed by the United States. France comes to mind as well.

  4. I’ve always been a “back the blue” guy but that shit is done and over with for me after the last year and a half. “Just doing our jobs” almost rhymes with “just following orders”, a legal and moral defense that ended at the bottom of a gallows in Nuremberg. I have no sympathy for any members of law enforcement who get injured enforcing Covid restrictions. That one cop near the end randomly pepper spraying people after the line was already broken is a great example of this.

And, he was probably shouting “Oh, yeah?” just like a kindergartener who’s lost an argument.

  5. Shortening the handles on simple garden tools (like 3-tine cultivators) Makes a dandy CQB weapon, in the absence of firearms.
Nail a STASI in the head with one, you’ve won a firearm!

  6. Cops got the last laugh, After the protesters ran out of steam, the 2,000 police broke them up into smaller groups and arrested 270 of the protesters. 10 cops injured, no mention of protester injuries.

How many of the protesters will have their lives destroyed by the vengeful bureaucrats? How many of the weak ones will be turned into snitches and double agents for the Police? The poor bastards in Washington DC on January 6, 2020, thought they were doing the right thing too. The folks in Washington DC disagreed.

  7. “ I do believe mistakes like this will not happen again.”
    I would agree, 100%.
The State can’t afford that Twice in a row.

For the Aussies, it’s time to hunt like a pack of wolves or submitt like beaten dogs.

    And it approaches elsewhere.

  8. They didn’t get their asses kicked, they mostly just got shoved out of the way.

I wonder if they’re considering what’ll happen if they piss people off enough to actually start kicking ass? And just what’ll start happening if they start crippling and/or killing people?

Only one rule: Don't be a dick.
