“Why does that say ‘box of axes’?”
“Because it’s a box of axes.”
“You have a box full of axes?”
“Yes.”

“That is a box of axes.”
“I’ll put it over by the box of chainsaws.”

How strong are those boxes? I have trouble finding ones that will hold my books, let alone tools.
Your best bet for books is honestly to check in with your local bookstores/libraries. You want small boxes for books, since books get heavy fast. Boxes that vendors/publishers use to ship books to bookstores/libraries are excellent.
Or bankers boxes. Strong, decent sized and with built in handles.
Are both of the boxes next to the box of machetes?
😉
Thsts funny
Wait, was there a box of axes sale, like the surplus machete one?
(BRM had a post about a 5 for $20 machete sale at Major surplus)
I went for that deal. They are impressive. You need to touch up the edges, since they are rough, but they are well made
BRM? (DuckDuckGo turned up a number of things, none of which looked right given the context.)

Thanks much!
Well… I have a rifle crate full of largish lasers and parts thereof. Never did get around to stenciling DEATH RAY COMPONENTS on it, but then we did a DIY move so there weren’t any moving-company workers to disturb.
Jealous here – I only have a box of mixed machetes and swords.
Oh, and my repro 16″ Garand bayonet – more sword than machete, IMO.
I was pondering just how many axes a 3-dimensional being could need, but then it occurred to me that I could always use a couple more axes on my mill. Maybe not a box full, though.
(When AvE got his 5-axis CNC mill, I was wondering what the 5th axis was for… then, a couple of days later, I was vaguely designing a part in my head and realized that 4 axes just wouldn’t be enough.)
Oy.
I would call that a box of hatchets. Actual hatches — for two-handed operation — are surprisingly hard to find, at least with acceptable handles. I finally found one. I also still have my boy scout hatchet, from the 1960s. And my father’s boy scout hatchet, a lovely slender British number.
