Serious question: is this blog in existence for any purpose other than armchair bitching, complaining, and generally SUICIDAL type rantings relating to “OHNOES!!!” Or for the express purpose of overstating the need for NRA in present form and/or felating of NRA leadership in general? Is there any action you plan on taking other than whining? Would be helpful to know this to figure out which blogs to clear from my daily read.

Officially this year I took the position of being exactly like you: An asshole waiting to get a machine gun and free ammo dropped in my lap. I really do not need to do anything else after 11 years of being pretty much the only Hispanic Pro Gun Blogger and trying to keep my readers informed of the doing of the Opposition. I was one of the very first ones that sounded the alarm about Shannon Watts and her bullshit story of being a Stay-At-Home mom when she really was a democrat political operative funded by who we eventually found out as Bloomberg. Or keeping Floridians informed of what is going on in our legislature, providing links to the actual text of the bills rather than somebody’s interpretation. And I have done the same thing for the bill presented in DC. To that add all the advice, crappy and not about a defensive life and humor stuff that sometimes we need.
So again, I have 11 years invested in this blog chockfull of information and I don’t give a shit if my positions hurts your delicate mangina. It is up to you know to solve the incoming tide of shit we will be facing soon enough… and please do so without any resource brought to you by the NRA.
In other words, stop with the bullshit and get to work. I expect results and soon. I need my free ammo no later than next week

Miguel, You have done more for guns rights than many many people. I have a boat load of respect for you.
I’ve made multiple calls to my state representatives. I’ve called the governor. I’ve called my congress people and senators. All because of things you’ve posted in your blog.
There have been times when I’ve taken your challenge even when your blog didn’t cover the item. (NH had a bunch of anti-gun bills come up that didn’t make your blog, but your calls for action lead me to call my state reps and then the governor.)
Please keep up the great work. Thank you for your actions.
As far as the Pro NRA stance, I don’t know where I stand on it There are other organizations that I donate to because of people I respect suggesting them. But lets say that 5% of all the money that gets donated to the NRA is misused, or down right stolen. That 95% that remains goes to some really great work.
If nothing else, the fact that all those people are taking aim at the NRA means that other gun rights groups are currently flying under the radar working to accomplish things.
I get notifications from some of them at a local level that helps me know what is going on.
As for the people that are calling Miguel’s actions into question: Put up. Show me what YOU’VE done. Tell me that you are posting 3,4 or more times per day about gun issues. Tell me what your blog address is. Show me where your blog is getting H/Ts from other bloggers. Miguel’s name is out there because his blog makes a difference.
From time tom time, I get comments from people demanding that I start a revolution now. Remember this: the person who is urging you to break the law is usually the government informant.

So what you purport to do is bitch about it now and take it as it comes, in your view, right? So you have any meaningful solutions to offer at all to counter the current events that are supposedly bringing about the end of the world? If not, why even have a blog? Does anything actually drive you to action even with the boot on your neck?
So enlighten the unenlightened. What are your solutions? What have you done to forward the ’cause’? What have been your actions against the boot?
