He’s not resigning even for groping ass. The one and only reason for his resignation is the party hath declared he is a liability for this time.
His resigning the post is not quitting. He’ll be back. Look only to Moonbeam in CA as a fairly recent example. Termed out as governor, parked hisself as city mayor then as AG then once more as governor.
Further, let’s compare Cuomo to Grabastic Nuisance in CA. CA’s pretty boy is subject merely to recall (which will probably fall to fraudulent manipulations), not threat of impeachment nor criminal investigation. Why the difference? Because in the case of Nuisance, it is only The People who want him gone. If it were the party, he’d be gone already.
Trying to save the Governorship of NY for another Dem. If he did not resign, it would probably sway the vote Republican next election. Now, there are several months to disassociate Cuomo from the Dems.

Well, since Mr. cuomo suddenly feels so, so, so strongly about bias and lack of fairness in the CJ (Yes, rhymes with “bj”) system, I just betcha he’s off to DC so that he can provide legal representation pro bone for those folks in solitary, held without bail, for trespassing.
