I have been a National Geographic subscriber for almost 35 years. My subscription is about up and I am really debating on whether to renew. Crap like this and an issue on the subject of transgender tween/teens are leading me to not support them any longer.
Twitterati and most journalists are too young to actually remember the 2000 fiasco.
I’m too old to remember if Gore ever actually had a lead in FL, despite being declared the winner before the polls closed.
But then, as now, the rule seems to be “Count the votes until the Democrat wins, then it’s settled.”
Come to think of it, that seems to always be the rule. If we win it’s temporary, if they win it’s set in stone and it’s treasonous to suggest otherwise.
