Your not wrong, but I watched a review of it, and the collar does not adjust for grenades so it won’t really work for that.
They can’t sell a grenade launcher or it’s an NFA item. The muzzle device and collar make it not a grenade launcher, the rings are machined in during production for both commercial and military use.
Old Yugo SKSs came with muzzle breaks that were the rifle grenade launcher drilled for holes to deactivate it.

Sorry, that is not correct. Maybe the rings are for barrel harmonics or weight distribution – but they are not necessary for firing rifle grenades – nor are they suited to.
If they were gas rings they would have the same diameter as the muzzle device. With a diameter that much smaller they are pretty fucking useless as gas rings.
