What I don’t understand is why people who dislike FB use it? I don’t have an account n just don’t go there. Canceling a FB account is worse than a hemorrhoidectomy but no accounts = No Facebook. As Nancy said, “Just say No”. Quit feeding them.
the supreme irony is what they are doing is exactly what the video is a metaphor for: frantically running around trying to “shut the lid” on the story, only to have it keep popping up everywhere, since the internet is forever and unstoppable. They keep shutting their lids, but it keeps popping up. And this particular lid was a video mocking them for trying to keep the lids shut…it’s too funny! Except that it’s really not.
What Anon 2303 said with one addition: how is that “sexual exploitation?” That’s a dude without his shirt on. Go to the beach or go outside to mow the lawn and we’re everywhere.
It’s a euphemism for “we’re censoring a story our bosses have told us must be suppressed”.
