Preemption of Firearms and Ammunition Regulation: Provides that unwritten policies are subject to provisions allowing for recovery of damages if such policies violate specified provisions; provides that plaintiff challenging local government regulation concerning firearms may be considered prevailing plaintiff for certain purposes in specified circumstances.

Something we had but it gives a way out for the offending parties to withdraw their idiocies without too much hurt. Includes attorney’s fees this time  Or at least that is how I see it.

    It would be even better if it made the offenders personally liable, rather than allowing them to shield behind official shields. I believe that is the case in some analogous situations in NH, and that sort of thing is a marvelous tools to have officials behave well.
