I get why celebrities think people care about their opinions … some people do, in fact, care what they think.
What I don’t understand is why those people who care about celebrities’ opinions, care in the first place.
Because the virus will spread so well in the salty sea air and high intensity UV sunlight as opposed to inside a metal tube or apartment’s HVAC system.

Another pot:kettle conundrum.
At this point I’ve given up on the idea of a split – upstate leaving NYC. I’m resigned to the doom of being tethered to that swollen dystopia. But could we at least change the name of the state to New Amsterdam, like so many people want? Fine, keep us subservient. But at least this way I won’t have to be identified by title with “New Yorkers” from NYC.
