Tabuk is in norther Saudi, and is located at about 2,500 ft. ASL. Average low in Feb is 43°F.
Freezing temps there are probably not uncommon in Feb. Odds are, they see snow regularly enough that the camels are not fazed at all.
Actually, camels kind of look like that all the time anyway.
There’s been snow in Israel too these past day or two. That happens very occasionally but it certainly is not common at all.
The real point is that “global warming” is no longer the term used by the cult; it has been renamed to “climate change”. Why? Simple. Global warming might be happening or not. But “climate change” always happens; it has happened since the creation of the Earth and will continue so long as there is an Earth. Ask any dinosaur — or mastodont.
There’s a nice database on the Internet that shows temperature over the past 40,000 years or so, taken from Greenland ice samples. It shows very clearly that right now is middling comfortable, but Caesar was quite a lot warmer in his day. And ice ages were both a lot colder and MUCH more variable. So the change that might be happening right now, if it’s actually true and not just activist forgery, is a trivial detail compared to what happened in past history.
