This made me think of everything in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer that would be illegal today without getting prior permission.
If we’re going to require government-issued permission slips for basic activities, perhaps we should require state-issued certification of basic grammar and syntax before one can tweet?
A person does not “concealed carry a gun,” they “carry a concealed gun.”
at least fishing licenses exist to help control over farming of them as a natural resource. they also force people to learn to only keep the bigger ones so that fish will be there in the future years. if people could self-regulate their fishing licenses wouldn’t be needed.
