Rapper Tory Lanez charged with shooting Megan Thee Stallion

Los Angeles prosecutors on Thursday charged rapper Tory Lanez with shooting artist Megan Thee Stallion during an argument earlier this year.

Lanez is accused of shooting at Megan Thee Stallion’s feet, hitting her, after she left a SUV during a fight in the Hollywood Hills on July 12, according to a release.

He faces two felony charges — assault with a semiautomatic firearm and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. The complaint states Lanez “inflicted great bodily injury” on Megan Thee Stallion.

Megan Thee Stallion is the rapper to collaborated with Cardi B to make that song WAP (Wet Ass Pussy).

He should be charged with being a terrible shot.

The judge needs to sentence Lanez to 100 hours and range time to improve his accuracy for next time.

  1. Always funny when rappers go on in their songs about shooting people, makign it sound like they routinely go around murdering people for looking at them funny, making it sound like they face no consequences and don’ giv a fuc if they do, not afraid of no po-lice, man. And then they actually pull a gun on someone, probably for the first time in their lives, and end up with lawyers, court dates, lawsuits, and all the mundane, degrading crap that the rest of us has to deal with. You sure it was worth it for all that Repec you got? I guess in a world where the nobodies DO routinely gun each other down (and often pay the consequences one way or another), the Somebodies have to at least play the part, or they wouldn’t be taken seriously. But it’s much easier to get away with murder as an anonymous gang member than as a well known “artist”. So they’ve GOT to carry a gun and act like they’ll use it, or no one will take them seriously….but there is almost no chance that they can get away with actually using it. Indeed, I suspect some of these “incidents” were carefully preplanned and acted out to “prove” how tough and “street” the rapper is, but without actually going over the line and doing something that will get them in real trouble.
Meanwhile, they promote and encourage and glorify the culture of drugs, guns, and violence that sends hundreds, nay, thousands of youth out to kill and be killed in the streets every year. Every single one of these assholes has blood on their hands. Imagine if a white artist started making songs encouraging black people to go out and kill black people? It would be horrible and racist. But when it’s black people telling black people to go out and kill people, break the law, damage society and inevitably end up in prison, we are required to “respect their culture” and act like we appreciate their work. No, gun violence is a result of racism, of the 2nd Amendment, of too many guns, not because of jerkoffs like this who train fatherless young children that the path to respect and glory is murder and absolute antisocialism.

Only one rule: Don't be a dick.
