First:

Former CNN host Leon Harris is arrested for ‘drunk driving at TWICE the legal limit and trying to leave the scene of a crash where he rear-ended a car that went flying into another vehicle outside Washington DC’

Second, and saving the best for last:

‘I was wrong’: Jeff Zucker, 56, quits as president of CNN for failing to disclose relationship with senior executive Allison Gollust, 49, who he’s worked with for more than 20 years

CNN president Jeff Zucker – considered to be one of the most powerful figures in media – has resigned as investigations into host Chris Cuomo uncovered that he failed to disclose a relationship with a colleague he’s worked with for more than 20 years.

Zucker, 56, was recently involved with a relationship with Allison Gollust, executive vice president and chief marketing officer for CNN Worldwide, both confirmed Wednesday.

‘As part of the investigation into Chris Cuomo’s tenure at CNN, I was asked about a consensual relationship with my closest colleague, someone I have worked with for more than 20 years,’ he wrote in an internal memo to colleagues. ‘I acknowledged the relationship evolved in recent years. I was required to disclose it when it began but I didn’t. I was wrong.’

Hahahahahahaha!!!!

The investigation into Fredo Cuomo took out the little king of CNN.

Fredo is the gift that keeps on giving.

I cannot wait to see what unfolds next.  A domino like Zucker doesn’t fall and not take out others.

I won’t throw my marker down yet but I suspect CNN will be declaring bankruptcy by the end of the year.

Spread the love

  1. Jeff Zucker was married to Caryn Nathanson from 1996 until 2019… and I can’t help but notice most of the news coverage of his ouster, if it mentions his relationship with Allison Gollust at all, tends to avoid saying how long the two were involved.

Personally, I think it’s kind of crass to dig into the details of someone else’s failed marriage. But given that CNN has done far worse to dozens upon dozens of other people…

    1. 20 years of “Friendship.” Her and her Husband and Children moved into the apartment ABOVE Jeff Zucker and his family. Amazingly both couples divorced about the same time.

Supposedly she was also sleeping with Andrew Cuomo before her relationship with Zucker, and she influenced Zuck on behalf of Andy Cuomo to not discipline CNN Employee Chris Cuomo for his helping her old fling Andy cover up his sexual harrassment.

Everyone at CNN knew. No one thought it might be newsworthy. Katie Couric even printed it in her book published last year. How many CNN executives and stars have a contract clause about reporting potential sexual harrassment or abuse? Wouldn’t knowledge of a CEO like Zucker sleeping with an underling like Gollust trigger that clause?

Maybe the new post merger incoming management will not have to honor many existing contracts? Hmmm?

  2. They’ll likely install some proxy communist to take his spot, and the show will go on.

What should happen? CNN should be bankrupt, every employee fired and cancelled for making careers out of spreading misinformation and propaganda. Let them all work for $15 an hour at McDonalds if they can’t learn to code. Remaining assets should be seized and redistributed (I recognize the irony, it’s intentional) to independent citizen journalists who have already been cancelled for telling the truth.

    1. Just how much money does the United States Intelligence Community™ spend to prop up failed media properties and to direct the activities of social media company properties? Inquiring minds want to know.

  3. Maybe Elon Musk can buy the network with the change he digs up from his couch cushions, and give it to the Babylon Bee?

  4. Shawn,

Does your local PBS Channel have one of those local weather channels? Mine (TPTNOW) looks like a PC Computer screen with Local Area Town’s Temperature and Wind and forecast in the Upper Left, a rotating map diplay of Radar, Winds, Temperatures, etc. The lower left rotates local and national Radar. They play soothing background music, like post-war French and Spaniosh vocalists and African music.

    Try That.
