I’m pretty partial to the American Tanto for the sheer utility even if it can be irksome to sharpen.

Of the sixteen points in the graphic, all my knives are represented in five, which are the most common for hunting and self-defense. And the majority of them are either from Winkler or Medford. And all but three are hard as hell to sharpen but those types of blades hold an edge for a very long time under heavy usage. My daily carry pocketknife is a Medford Nosferatu.
I am partial to tanto grinds but most knives I have are drop point or normal.
