Here we go again.

Moms Demand GOP debate

A bit more subtle this time, but not that much. Quicken Loans Arena does prohibit firearms in its property, but they have been doing so for a long while now and it is not as Shannon’s Media Minion suggests, for the GOP debates.

And obviously, neither Fox nor the GOP had to do anything with that internal decision by QLA, but Moms Demand have never been shy about lying before, so why stop now. And I bet if you ask them directly, they will come out and say that Fox and the GOP could have asked QLA to relinquish the prohibition but since they didn’t do so, they approved it for this event. Yeah, they are mentally twisted that way.

And what is the perception among their followers? Did they take the bait?

The usual collage of replies… have fun!

I think that hook was set somewhere in their collective lower intestines they swallowed so hard.

One again: If your cause is so righteous, why lie?

  1. Is amazing how their followers drink the koolaid with glee and don’t bother to research. Arenas are always gun free zones. Sports and music events are gun free, always. Is that simple.

    1. You are invited to come to Free America where those prohibitions do not apply to events at publicly owned (including publicly financed) venues. And yet the only shootings that take place are at the goals/nets, and the only hits take place on the playing fields. I can’t remember the last musical act that backed out because guns can’t be prohibited at our Coliseum

      stay safe..

  2. This is like if they were holding the event in the World Arena here in Colorado, or in Boulder. Of course weapons are prohibited. It’s a major public arena with expectations of high capacity.

Personally, I always feel a little less safe when I’m in an area that I know prohibits weapons. If someone tries to start something, who’s going to stop him?

    1. Especially when they do such a wonderful job of making sure that everyone who comes in has no weapons….Not that I have any experience with that.

I do think it funny that the guy “wanding” me at the local stadium telling me how there was quite an uproar earlier in the day because he allowed an undercover police officer through with his firearm. He missed it, plain and simple, and admitted it that when checking 80,000 people coming in, most of whom only want to get to their seats RIGHT NOW, it’s easy to miss. I only smiled and nodded and thought, “That’s twice in one day. At the very least.”

  3. The collective failure of the responses to recognize that the QLA universally forbids weapons shows why the POTUS was elected and “bloody-hands” Hitlery and dumb-ass Biden would be considered viable candidates. Now that is an ignorant kool-aid drinking party!
