Why is it that every time I turn around, there’s yet another anti-gun organization? Were the other ones just not doing their jobs properly and they figure a rebrand will help?
That’s one thing we’ve got on the opposition, is that we’re relatively unified with large organizations like the NRA, the NSSF and the 2AF. There’s specialist organizations like the American Suppressor Association for NFA folk, but they gladly operate in concert with the NRA if the need arises.
These anti-gun organizations rarely operate from the same playbook.
NGVAC was the pipe dream of ONE Chicago Lunatic. He’s the dude who proposed the first boycotts of businesses who wouldn’t ban guns by customers.
He made some pretty crazy claims, possibly attempted a big anti-gun startup group….but as far as I know he’s now gone to just him alone in his Chicago apartment

There WAS a (short) time when Elliot Finneman had employees at NGVAC….I’m pretty sure these days he’s the only person under that banner, and the various people listed as the “Board” are just the professional lobbyists/activists who will sign on to ANYTHING anti-gun for no pay, and no job requirements.
Think Joan Peterson who is on the Board of Directors for 3 separate groups (maybe more) but only Protect Minnesota gets any work out of her, the rest are annually graced with an appearance if somebody will pay her freight.
Based on conversations with old Africa hands, Leopards are pests, and there are way too many of them. Also, those ‘hunts’ pay for the wildlife parks, protection areas and provide money to the local communities they would otherwise never see!!!
I am utterly drooling at the thought of the potential libel suits this could spawn… and I bet Eric’s lawyers are, too.
