Apparently somebody had a great idea to counter people carrying openly and NGVAC is all excited:

NGVAC Defrauding merchant

And what that idea might be?

My proposal is as follows: we should all leave. Immediately. Leave the food on the table in the restaurant. Leave the groceries in the cart, in the aisle. Stop talking or engaging in the exchange. Just leave, unceremoniously, and fast.

But here is the key part: don’t pay. Stopping to pay in the presence of a person with a gun means risking your and your loved ones’ lives; money shouldn’t trump this. It doesn’t matter if you ate the meal. It doesn’t matter if you’ve just received food from the deli counter that can’t be resold. It doesn’t matter if you just got a haircut. Leave. If the business loses money, so be it. They can make the activists pay.

via PQED: How should people respond to open-carry gun-rights activists?.

Depending on your state, this has different names: Fraud to Merchant, Theft of Service, etc. Whatever is called, it is a crime and society frowns upon it.

If there was an after-midnight AM radio version of Gun Control Activism, it would be hosted by Elliot Fineman who run by NGVAC. Yes, they are all kooky as hell and then some, they make Art Bell look like Mr. Spock. This is a screen capture of that thread and if that does not tell you everything, I have no idea what could:

I don’t harp on them too much because Illuminatti & Lizard People are already mocked by many, but in this case they are advocating the commission of a crime and some idiot follower is gonna end up with a face full of pepper spray in the back of a patrol car because he followed a very stupid advice.

Hang around stupid people….

PS: I forgot I have been saving this for a while. More on what is in their minds.

  1. They could have their own “NGAC” episode of COPS.

And in the comments, it’s hilarious watching the intern try and change the subject when it’s noted they’re advocating breaking the law.

    1. Go back to the thread…. They deleted most of the posts of people warning they would be breaking the law. It is like they are wishing for their people to be arrested…which makes sense in their twisted world. Publicity.

    1. I would love to see them start doing this. If they do, I’m going to start open-carrying.

Have to patch up the defects in my 2-gun rig first, though. It tends to get a bit loose the longer I wear it and then my guns flop around. Not cool.

  2. This is actually a tehnique that has been used by lawful open carriers. When told that we and our legally carried guns were not welcome, rather than engage in debate or start ranting about “our rights” we complied with the request of the person in charge and left. Even if it meant eavinjg a meal uneaten at a restaurant, or a shopping cart full of perishible food in the middle of a grocery store aisle.

The difference is, we were complying with an order to leave so as not to incur a trespassing charge. The tactic has been tested with some local cops who we waited for off the property of the person demanding we leave yet calling the cops because we had not paid. So far the result has been the complaining person was told either we be allowed to stay and fininsh our meal/shopping or we do not have to pay when told in the middle of a meal/shoping trip to get up and go. YMMV of course, depending on your own state laws and how your local cops generally react to lawful open carry.

And no, this did not involve going into places clearly posted as victim disarmament [gun free] zones.

    stay safe.

      1. @Dr.Strangelove: Having been told to leave, there is no possibility of going back inside. If it had been a typical “dine and dash” we would be breaking the law, but being kicked out it is the restaurant that violates the innkeeper statutes. Confuses the cops no end to have to think about arresting a manager for enforcing the establishment’s policy.

Also a great example to knowing your state laws (and carrying around copies of the good ones)>.

        stay safe.
