You may see a circle around the numbers of August 2009 and there is a reason for that. Starting on that date, we have not had a month under 7 figures since. That is 129 straight months. Ten years and nine months. Short of a Government shutdown, we are but three months away from 11 straight years of over 7 figures.
If that does not say that Gun Control is all but a pipe dream, I do not know what else could it be.

Oh, they may not be able to TAKE them all, but that doesn’t mean that they don’t want to regulate them into oblivion by making the use of the firearm so difficult as to be almost impossible. Plus destroying the gun and hunting culture.
I blogged about this in June of 2016. At the time, I estimated that we had between 400 and 500 million firearms in the country. That was 100 million NICS checks ago.

The NICS is always wrong. The reason being is Illinois. They run over 600,000 background checks a month. They run a background check on every single FOID holder literally every single day. If they have a CCW twice a day. So if you remove Illinois from the equation completely you’re more accurate. It’s still cracked 3 million. I wonder how long it’s going to be this high? Not too much longer though.
Why does IL do this, apart from “we’re scumbag tax sucking parasites and this is what we do”?
I look at that and I see, “Up to 80 MILLION firearms sold, just since Trump was elected, and no federal registry.” On average that’s one for every four people in America, just during this administration, and that makes me happy.
I challenge the antis, again, to tell me how they’re going to track, let alone seize, all the guns.
I think the anti’s actually think people will turn them in. Remember Feinstein in the 90’s and her remarks about how if she could she would have ordered everyone to “turn em in”. It doesn’t compute to them that people would disobey god (the government). Like an order is given from Chancellor Cuomo in 2024 and *poof* people are lining up by the millions, guns in hand, at the local police station. Just ain’t gonna happen. Guns in America are here to stay. Forever.
