Political Karen calls for bills of attainder – update: the whole of NYC Government is out for this woman

This is another followup to the Battle of the Karens.

From the New York Post:

Civic association calls on de Blasio to ban Central Park ‘Karen’ for life

The woman shown in a now-viral video calling the cops on a black man in Central Park after he asked her to keep her dog on a leash should be permanently banned from the green space, a neighborhood activist said Tuesday.

Michael Fischer, president of the Central Park Civic Association, called Amy Cooper’s actions in the widely shared video “a disgusting display of intolerance” that should “never, ever be accepted in the City’s public domain like Central Park.”

“The Central Park Civic Association condemns this behavior and is calling on Mayor [Bill] de Blasio to impose a lifetime ban on this lady for her deliberate, racial misleading of law enforcement and violating behavioral guidelines set so that all can enjoy our city’s most famous park,” Fischer said.

The NYPD is not charging this woman with a crime so a member of the Central Park Civic Association wants the Mayor to declare this woman guilty and punish her for life by banning her from a public place she pays for with her tax dollars.

Bills of attainder are expressly forbidden by the Constitution.  The legislature or executive cannot establish guilt and impose punishment independent of the judiciary.

But here we are in 2020.  A viral video of a Karen pissing match has led to a call for one of our most sacred protections in the Constitution being thrown away.

I’ve seen what comes next, struggle sessions.

Honestly, this story has me so mad that I am ready to start ventilating people.

I’m not defending what this woman said.  What I’m saying is that a few seconds of cellphone video, edited by one party to remove him being a provocative asshole, has cost this woman her job, made her name into a hashtag, has gotten several public officials to condemn her by name, and is getting her harassed ceaselessly online.

How will this woman every find a job ever again?  Who will hire her and risk the wrath of the Twitter mob?  Her life is over.

Miguel warns about the dangers of lynch mobs.  I’d argue that these are worse.  A lifetime of unemployment because of a viral video is a death sentence.  At the height of lynching, a lynch mob may have been a few dozen to a hundred people.  Even the New Orleans lynch mob of 1891 was only a thousand people.

Today’s Twitter lynch mobs number in the millions, and they are from all over the world.

There is no escaping them.  You can’t outrun a global group.  You can’t change your name and hide when they will track you down with facial recognition and metadata.

I believe that every person who joins an internet lynch mob should be treated like people who join an actual lynch mob.  If you destroy a person’s life online, you should face the consequences in the meat space.

Maybe one day I will take my children to see the plaque at the mass grave of Twitter uses who harassed a woman to death over a few seconds of deceptively edited viral video, as a warning not to join the internet dog pile.

Update:

NYC Human Rights Commission Opens Investigation Into Viral Central Park Confrontation

“At a time when the devastating impacts of racism in Black communities have been made so painfully clear—from racial disparities in COVID-19 outcomes, to harassment of essential workers on the frontlines—it is appalling to see these types of ugly threats directed at one New Yorker by another,” said Sapna Raj, deputy commissioner of the Law Enforcement Bureau at the NYC Commission on Human Rights. “Efforts to intimidate black people by threatening to call law enforcement draw on a long, violent and painful history, and they are unacceptable.”

The NYC Commission on Human Rights has the authority to fine people who violate the law and can award damages to victims, including for emotional distress.

COVID affects black people more so this woman has to pay for her outburst.

This woman will suffer for the COVID crisis in NYC more than Cuomo and de Blasio combined.

And what crime did she commit?  The NYPD didn’t arrest her.  Her threat to call the police was overblown but arguably not a false report given what the man dad trying to bait her dog.

The video drew swift reaction and condemnation from elected officials.

“The video out of Central Park is racism, plain and simple,” Mayor Bill de Blasio said on Twitter. “She called the police because he was a black man. Even though she was the one breaking the rules, she decided he was the criminal and we know why. This kind of hatred has no place in our city.”

The Mayor of New York City called her a racist and says she has no place in the city.

“This apology is totally inadequate,” posted Mark Levine, whose district covers the Upper West Side, Washington Heights, and West Harlem near the section of Central Park where the encounter took place. “She was attempting to weaponize the race of Mr. Cooper.”

This is a New York City Councilmember.

What act of genocide did this woman commit?

Who did she murder?

Thugs beat the piss out Jews randomly on the streets of NYC for months and nobody said shit.

This was two Karens in a pissing match and politicians are talking like she lead a new Tuskegee experiment.

This is so fucking unbelievable it’s making my head swim.

This woman’s life is over.

You can’t have cops and firefighters but you have an Yogis

I fail to understand just how much of a piece of shit Democrat leaders can be.

It’s shocking to me that people can be such human garbage and not feel bad about it.

According to the New York Daily News:

Congress must give New York at least $61 billion in federal aid as part of the next coronavirus stimulus bill or the state will have to slash funding for schools, hospitals and first responders, Gov. Cuomo said Tuesday.

The governor delivered the dire warning during a briefing in Binghamton, saying state and local governments across New York will have no choice but to enact the “devastating” budget cuts unless federal lawmakers step in.

Once again, a Democrat governor holding critical services hostage.

Now this from the New York Post:

Yoga czar for NYC schools touts meditation, pricey Berkshires retreats

While Chancellor Richard Carranza plans to cut hundreds of millions from NYC classrooms, his little-known yoga czar — the school system’s first “Director of Mindfulness” — makes nearly $200,000 a year while organizing retreats for educrats in the Berkshires.

Barnaby Spring, the Department of Education’s chief yogi, is trying to expand yoga and meditation for students, staffers and execs, deeming the contemplative practices and body-bending postures like the Downward-Facing Dog as important as academics.

Spring’s salary is $183,781, but he collected $194,947 last year as a principal on special assignment.

One of the first steps Spring took as mindfulness director was to forge a partnership with the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, which Forbes in November named among “the best meditation retreats in the world.”

Spring helped arrange for top DOE administrators, including principals, managers, superintendents and deputies, to undergo “leadership resiliency training” at the Berkshires retreat.

Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, a yoga practitioner and ally of Watson-Harris, awarded the DOE a $111,000 grant in April 2019 to train Brooklyn educators in yoga and mindfulness.

The DOE said it spent $57,075 from that grant to send 30 administrators to Kripalu at a cost of $1,900 each. Kripalu offered free classes to 480 other staffers, officials said.

City comptroller records show DOE schools spent $101,000 at the Kripalu Center in the 2018-19 school year and $18,000 this school year.

Your kids won’t be taught math, and the police will have an hour-long response time when you cal 911 but school administrators will get junkets to take a yoga retreat to one of the most exclusive luxury yoga spas in the country on the taxpayer dime.

This is on top of Cuomo killing your kid’s grandparents in a nursing home.

I wonder how all those out of state first responders who went to New York City to help, just to find out that they will have to pay New York State income tax on any salary they collected in their home state while volunteering in New York feel about the fact that they are funding bureaucrat mindfulness retreats while their fellow New York first responders get laid off?

I feel like guillotines should be working round the clock in New York.

Chicago is back to its bad normal

From FOX News:

Chicago suffers bloodiest Memorial Day weekend since 2015 with at least 10 killed, report says

Ten people were gunned down in Chicago in recent days during what is being called as the city’s deadliest Memorial Day weekend since 2015.

The violence – which also left 38 injured – came despite Illinois’ ongoing stay-at-home order asking residents to remain indoors “unless you work for an essential business or are doing an essential activity.”

The Chicago Sun-Times’ tally defined the Memorial Day weekend as beginning at 5 p.m. Friday and lasting until 5 a.m. Tuesday. In 2015, 12 people were killed over the holiday weekend, according to its reporting.

I guess that’s what happens when:

Chicago’s biggest jail has released almost a fourth of its population over coronavirus fears

Chicago’s Cook County Jail once had a population of roughly 10,000 detainees and was often cited for overcrowding.

Now that number is down to around 4,200, an all-time low, according to the Cook County Sheriff’s Office. One significant reason is the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Also, as WBEZ reports:

Chicago Police have been instructed to minimize contacts with the public to slow the spread of the coronavirus. Since Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker issued his stay-at-home order in March, arrests in Chicago have dropped by almost 75%, according to city data. William’s experience highlights the difficult balance police are trying to strike between public health and public safety.

Who couldn’t have predicted that letting people out of jail and stopping the police from arresting people will lead to more death in Chicago’s streets?

The government of Chicago and Illinois, that’s who.

I wonder how many more young men died of gunshots than would have died of COVID had they been locked up the way they were supposed to?  What do you think that ratio is?

People are getting stir crazy but the government isn’t responding in kind.  Throw in the Democrat governors promising to fire cops if they don’t get their bailout and it’s easy to imagine that street violence is going to be bad this summer as agitated, unemployed people leave the house and there are not enough cops making too few arrests to keep the peace.

Broward County had some “small” issues during the last elections…like fraud.

Multiple shortcomings contributed to a problem-plagued 2018 election in Broward County, many of which were on public display while a national cable TV audience waited for Florida to recount votes in elections for governor and U.S. Senate. A controversial audit 18 months later is now detailing even more failings.

Among the issues raised in the audit:
-Half of Broward County’s election precincts reported more ballots cast than the number of voters. Backlogs in processing mail ballots snarled reporting of results.
-Confusing ballot design may have led thousands of voters to inadvertently skip an important contest.
-Money was wasted on unneeded blank ballots, which weren’t adequately tracked and were eventually destroyed.
-After election day, auditors found the recount was plagued by poor planning, inadequate staffing and equipment, and poor quality control.

Audit finds 2018 election in Broward County was marred by waste, extra votes, unnecessary delays

Can you say fraud, boys and girls”

Extra votes: Auditors said a little more than half of the county’s voting precincts — 293 out of 577 — had a combined total of 885 more tabulated votes than voters. Though that’s miniscule compared to the total voter turnout of 715,519, and a different set of countywide records showed no extra ballots, the auditors wrote that is the kind of problem that “compromises voter confidence.”

The writer misses the point: the 885 “extra” votes were not just the only ones that reek of fraud but just the unintended overflow. Or are they trying to tell us that 100% of the voters in every precinct voted? Fat effing chance there, Sparky.

We came close to have re-elect a Democrat senator and have a Meth Head with a pleasure for sharing spit and other bodily fluids with male prostitutes as governor. I wonder if we ended up with Pothead Fried as Ag secretary and in charge of the Concealed Weapons License program because of those fraudulent votes.

Battle of the Karens – a follow up

Earlier today wrote a post about a battle between two Karens over a dog off its leash in Central Park.

At the time I said both sides were guilty of shit.

I didn’t know how right I was.

The female Karen might have been racist but the male Karen is a fucking punk.

This is from his Facebook:

So this guy baited her dog as the self appointed Karen of the Ramble not cutting this woman any slack when the Waffen NYPD locked down the dog runs.

He admits he carries treats to bait dogs.

He deserves an ass-kicking for that.

It was announced that the woman was fired.

The Twitter hate mob was not satiated by this bloodshed and is demanding more.

Moreover, it turns out that the man Karen is one privileged motherfucker.  He’s a Harvard graduate, a book editor, and worked on a number of Marvel Comics.

No wonder he was such a fucking Karen, we was educated at the elite Karen proving grounds of America’s Ivy League.

I actually feel bad for the woman, she was baited into this and fell victim to hate mob Twitter.

If there us any justice in this world all of them (him Karen, her Karen, and him Karen’s sister who made the video go viral) of them will see the guillotine.

And every Twitter mob member who felt the need to harass her employer until she got fired.

I can say with absolute moral certainty that I would rather be responsible for the deaths of 10,000 Twitter users who harassed a women’s employer over a selectively edited cell phone video than I would harassing a women’s employer over a selectively edited cell phone video.

The Chorizo Issue.

I am very happy to see that people have taken to duplicate the recipes i post and I just realized there si an ingredient I keep mentioning but I have not been helpful about: Chorizo (AKA Spanish Sausage.)

This is the brand and “model” we use:

It is made by the Spanish company Palacios in a factory they have here in Miami. They are very good and had mom’s seal of approval as someone who actually made them back in the day at home.

We buy them locally at BJ’s Wholesale Club because they carry the Sarta type which is not dry.  Supposedly stores like Fresco y Mas (a latino spin off of Winn Dixie) Winn Dixie and even WalMart carries Quijote Chorizos but more than likely you get to order them through their site and have them shipped home.

Do your research. They come in different tastes and lengths, but for flavoring like with the peas’ recipe, pretty much any model will do.

Hope this helps!

This is one faux outrage people need to chill down about.

Contrary to what some people are foaming about, contact tracing is not a secret and nefarious government project which is designed to squeeze information out of you before you and yours are sent to  Quarantine Camps to die.  It is a normal investigative technique that has an immense value on figuring out how a sickness spreads and how where and and who got it started.  This has been done pretty much since Pasteur saw the little bugs in the microscope, so it is far from some Facebook/Bill Gates conspiracy to chip everybody and  fore people to buy Apple Products.

From TB to syphilis to  smallpox, every single one of their breakouts was not only treated with the correspondent medications and therapies, but with an investigation on how it got passed along. Hell, go ask your grandparents what was the procedure when back in the day somebody ended up with a drippy dick.

So chill, you are not legally to respond to any questions. Just say you are busy and have no idea how you got the clap…er… Wuhan V. and hang up the phone.
